Our Inner Tie Rod Removal Set is made for use with inner tie rod ends, as well as rack and pinion assemblies.
The long socket slips over the tie rod end and the crow foot engages on the socket for easy removal and installation.
The inner tie rod can be removed and installed without removing the rack.
It was designed for working in cramped conditions where sockets and wrenches just won't work or fit.
Please pay attention to that this kit is not for use with "Saginaw" type rack and pinion assemblies.
These tools should not be used with power tools,but used only with a hand wrench.

I like that the kit will fit multiple cars, parts are strong enough to do the job, pretty easy to use, but little plates tend to fall out when you're putting a new tie rod on. But does make the job much easier for removal and install. Good quality for the price.

It worked for me but it was a pain getting it on and not falling right off . the part you twist to lock it on kept falling off

I have used to do tie rod replacements on 2001 Toyota Highlander and 2005 Camry. Many kits do not include the 29mm fitting these require. I was able to easily remove and install the inner tie rods on both vehicles with the tool. Only issue is the retaining ring is not very sturdy and tends to pop off with minimal pressure. However, the tool functions perfectly fine without the retaining ring, so it is a very minor issue. Definitely worth the cost to have a tool that fits correctly (unlike some loaner kits) and makes the job incredibly easy and frustration free!

Bought to change the inner tie rods on my 1995 Honda Del Sol. The driver side was loose so I changed both. This tool worked perfectly and quickly. Came with a nice assortment of sizes also.

Warning This product is too small to be used on half ton pickup trucks. I bought it and was unable to use it. You are better off to go to advanced auto parts and borrow the same or better quality tool for free. Their rental tool covers the same size as this tool and is free to borrow.
