- Efficiently remove ball joints, U joints, and brake anchor pins with the KAFLLA Heavy Duty Ball Joint Press Kit.

- The 9 inch long C frame press with a 6 inch opening and extra long jackscrew provides even and straight force, allowing you to smoothly press out joints without damaging other components.

- Assemble the Ball Joint Press over the control arm.
- Position the correct size Receiving Tube under the ball joint.
- Insert the Removal Adapter between the Receiving Tube and the Jackscrew.
- Place the Installation Adapter between the top of the ball joint and the Ball Joint Press.
- Tighten the Jackscrew until the Receiving Tube contacts the control arm.
- Check alignment of all parts.
- Continue tightening the Jackscrew to remove the ball joint.
- Clean and lubricate the inside diameter of the control arm.
- Insert the replacement ball joint straight into the control arm.
- Assemble the Ball Joint Press over the control arm.
- Position the correct size Receiving Tube on top of the control arm.
- Place the Installation Adapter between the Receiving Tube and the Ball Joint Press.
- Insert the Removal Adapter between the ball joint and the Jackscrew.
- Check the alignment of all the Ball Joint Kit parts.
- Tighten the Jackscrew until the vehicle's ball joint is removed.
- Remove all lock ring retainers from the Brake Anchor Pins.
- Position the Ball Joint Press over the brake spider.
- Tighten the Jackscrew until the anchor pins can be removed.
To install the brake anchor pins:
- Insert the brake anchor pins.
- Reinstall the lock ring retainers on the brake anchor pin.
To complete the process:
- Unscrew and remove the Ball Joint Press.

Used it twice, the frame distorted so its alignment is off .Should have been made with better metal or thicker frame.

It’s pretty terribly made, poor quality. I used this to attempt to replace the ball joints on my truck. I’ll give it props that it was able to press out the old ball joint fairly easy. Although i had a powerful impact that helped. It could not press in the new ball joints no matter how hard i tried. After multiple trips to the auto store and a lot of frustration i ended up renting a real kit and finished the job in 15mins. The threads snapped and metal shavings from the clamp were everywhere. It is a waste of your money, buy a real one or just rent one from autozone.

Was so happy it showed up on time just to open the box and get what looks to be someone’s return the tool it self is covered in nasty grease and the case it comes in is broken and cracked:(
