Not worth the trouble. Two of them leak and one of them don't even open to get water.

I didn’t want to glue these into the T because the sun tend to deteriorate them over time and I wanted to be able to replace them. The chickens bump them and some how turn them so all the water drains out of the bucket. I don’t know how long they are out of water till I come home from work and it’s empty. They don’t drink 4 gallons of water in a day. They also constantly have algae in the cups. I think the light color promotes it. I spent a lot of money redoing their waterer to make these work and they don’t

We recently got some Coturnix Quail for our farm. These waters are simple to put together, easy to clean. Plastic is durable and they are a nice size. Haven't had trouble with leaks yet.

This does NOT fit a half inch/15mm pipe. The opening is around 21mm, so doesn't fit any pipes available in the UK. I tried using 20mm plastic pipe with silicone sealant, but couldn't make it watertight. So completely useless.

Its a pain to turn the little nuts on the inside of the PVC to install them. Also the cup design lasts about a month in hard water before needing disassembled and reworked.

These four piece water Cups have come in really handy for my pet birds and I would honestly recommend it for everybody. I decided to make a little apparatus for filling up these water cups and the cage for my bird. The PVC pipes that you can connect to these are fantastic I make my life so much more easier. I decided to run these Inside the Cage with the pipes coming out of it and facing upwards so I can install funnel. Whenever the water runs low I just fill it up from the outside with a smaller water bottle and I'm done. No more taking the cups to the sink filling it up and carefully walking it back. The quality of the cups is fairly good as well and I do think it can take a beating. Right now the price is $17.99 for a pack of four which makes them about four and a half dollars each. At that price I think it's fantastic and if you have other people with pets I think they would appreciate it too. Overall I'm really happy with these water cups and I'd recommend it for everybody with pets.

I tried 4 of these cups and none of them would shutoff after completely filling with water. I don't know what the issue is but it seems the spring is too strong for the weight of the water filled cup.

A set of auto filling watering cups for chickens, poultry, and certain other small animals.Plumb the pipe into a water tank and the water can be filled by how many are using daily and evaporation. A water feeder tank can either be built to refill with a hose pipe or with rain water. Each cup has a fill stop valve. When less than full, valve opens and water fills the cup that is low, empty.Using these keep the water more Clean and Clear.

These are very convenient and easy to install, all you need is some plumbing experience, like gluing LOL. You attach these to your watering system using 1/2 inch pvc pipe. I ran one inside the chicken house and a few outside. They automatically fill so I don't have to worry about anything but keeping the water bucket full. I put the bucket, a regular 5 gallon home depot bucket with a lit outside the coup on a shelf a few feet above the watering cups. I fill it every so many days and keep it clean and these work perfect in that system. The cups unscrew easily for cleaning them and the system every so many weeks.

I really like these little waterers, they are so much nicer than the standard containers used and far less messy. My hens figured out what they were right away, it was like a new toy! There were no instructions in my box with these but it was easy enough to figure out. Nice solution to having a tidier chicken run. They are a nice size, and hold about 1/4 cup of water and refill quite easily.

I was curious about this and similar products – for me, the main purpose would be providing a waterer inside the chicken coop from which the birds could not that easily spill the water and make soggy messes. The package came with four cups and four PVC T-connectors – so they need to be installed on the pipe which in turn gets the water from a larger container. Assembling the pieces was not too difficult. The spring mechanism that adds more water when the cup is emptied works as designed. It is important to ensure that all the cups are parallel and horizontal, otherwise they will lose water. For this reason, it would be a challenge to put the assembled system in the area where the ground level is uneven. For what I intended to do with the product, the main obstacle is the heating: I do not see an effective way to prevent freezing water if the temperature drops below zero (in my lands it can happen even in a well-insulated coop with a heat lamp). This does not mean that it is not a good product; if you would like to arrange the chicken coop and the area around it so it is neatly organized, and are not concerned about freezing temperatures - this product can do that. It is well made and it is simple enough that there’s not much that can go wrong with it.

Most important is they don't leak like other waterers as long as the water pressure is low. Yes, they do need to be cleaned periodically, but that's the nature of the business. Beware, the chickens will break them off when they get rambunctious. Then you'll have streaming water inside the chicken run. Need to build some sort of a shield to keep the chickens from landing on the waterers.
