Right, so, I prefer wooden or bamboo needles, but the reviews on these seem great, so I gave them a shot. The tips are sharp, there's no snags at the joins, knits smooth as butter, cable wasn't too twisty, and they were lovely and amazing.... until the smell started.I'm sensitive to cheap metals/ non silver, and can typically smell the off tangy smell if I'm working with a metal a lot. Unfortunately, that happened with these. They were and are great to work with, but the smell makes me stop knitting every time. Completely halted my project. May cancel it if I'm being honest. This is just a me thing, and I can't return them due to me using them, so I only deducted one star due to the smell. Others probably don't have this issue, and I would say it's a great purchase otherwise, hence the 4 stars.Would buy the brand again, just not the metal.

The needles are smooth, thry were bent but I bent them backThe needles were bent both of them when I received them I was able to unbend for the most part BUT they shouldn't have been placed in bubble wrap package they should be placed in a box! Great name for these needles. I’m having fun. No grabbing, no excessive sliding. The cord is flaxible! Super buy for me.

These Addi Turbo’s are nice and they are light. I like knitting with them because the cord is superb. However, they aren’t as sharp as my Chiagoo’s which is what I was hoping for.

These addi circulars are great! I got size 8 and 32” and they’re super good for knitting my socks (with magic loop technique) with worsted weight wool. They’re nice and smooth, lightweight and easy to use. I’m ordering 40” because it seems like I could use a bit more slack.I’m a little worried about the plastic cord breaking but so far, they’re perfect and I love that addi offers a lifetime guarantee.

Knits like a hot knife through warm butter. And the price was more competitive than most other Addie needles I’ve seen for sale. Also, this may sound strange but I bought these 24” circular for knitting socks in the round using the Magic Loop technique. “But 24” is too short for Magic Loop!”, some might say. But honestly, these bad boys knit Magic Loop socks easier and faster than my 40” Chiaogoo’s. There are two important differences with these Addi needles that, I believe, make this possible: 1) the cord is incredibly flexible but still thick enough to create an *almost* seem less join with the needle, and 2) the needle surface is so incredibly smooth that the stitches just glide over them. This translates to no need to pull on the needles or fabric in order to use Magic Loop. I don’t think I’d recommend using a 24” needle for Magic Loop socks with any other brand. The reason I opted for 24” circulars for Magic Loop socks was that my 40” circulars left me with an unwieldy amount of extra cord. I was wasting a lot of time with moving the stitches across what felt like an ocean of cord. Then, once I would have the stitches situated on their respective needles, I would have to wrangle the excess cord into submission so that they would stay below my needles while knitting. Now, 24” may be an extreme considering how many intermediary options there are in between those two measurements, but these ones were on sale so… *shrug*TL; DR: these 24” addi needles are amazing and can even be used with Magic loop!

Addi Turbo Sock Rockets are the best! I ordered two of the same size (2.5mm) because I wanted to try knitting socks with two circular needles, and I must say that it is so much more efficient than using double pointed needles. I like Addis because there is no catching of the yarn at the point where the needle meets the cable; they are a pleasure to use.I also received excellent service from Ucoomy. Though there was some initial confusion as to my order, Ucoomy dealt with it ethically by keeping me informed as to the status of my order and even gave me a partial refund. There is a good reason for their high approval rating and I would certainly order knitting needles from them again!

Well this is not Jason :-) but I'm the knitter. This was kind of a test the waters purchase, and lo and behold I loved these so much that I bit the bullet and ordered the full set of long lace clicks ($127). The needles themselves seem to be very sturdy, high quality, nice and slick which is great if you're a tight knitter like me or just want faster results. I really like the longer needles as it is easier to manipulate tight stitches, and the long cable is perfect for magic loop. I know a few reviewers have commented on less than seamless joins. I have noticed that when my stitches get caught on the base of the needle, it is usually because I am doing magic loop and they got pulled a little tight at the end until they were too small to slide onto the needle without some tugging. That is just my experience. And yes, the very flexible blue cord can definitely kink, but you just have to be careful with it. In any case, these are super slick, super sick, perfect point for most things, and make my stitches slide right off the needle and my knitting go about twice as fast as with the knockoffs - and that is what matters to me!
