The description is confusing. It says 5.5 ( .22) but they sent me a 4.5 (.177). The return was not as easy either. The rifle is a good size but I do not like the stock.

I got this rifle in .22 caliber. Shoots around 430fps. Nice little rifle but you should really disassemble it completely, clean everything, file and/or polish the sear and where it engages at the piston, clean the barrel thoroughly, then make sure the barrel hinge is snug and all screws are snug.Do all that and this rifle is so much better and will operate smoother. Another thing I did was remove the trigger and carefully hammer it into a more shallow curve. In stock condition it was too curved and didn't feel right, but now it's much better after being straightened a little bit.I'm getting good shot groups at 10 yards using flat nosed RWS meisterkugeln pellets. Overall this rifle is cheap and a bit rough, but with a little work it's not bad at all and pleasant to shoot.Update: February 15, 2025Still shooting this rifle and it's still working fine. I did have to blue loctite the screws that hold the stock to the body to keep them from coming loose. Also the pin that holds the barrel linkage (under the barrel) was working its way out and getting loose. I had to peen it with a hammer and drift to make it stay in place. Overall still happy with this rifle for the price.

I quite like this rifle. As I said in the title it's basic, solid, and fun. It's just wood and metal. The only plastic bit I have found is the slider for the rear sight. If you want a no-frills old school break-barrel pellet rifle then this is the one. I'm tempted to get their under-level one too just because.

It's a great little shooter and is very accurate. It's steel & wood design gives it a nostalgic look and feel. It's built to last, so yes, when you first break the barrel it will take some force. Once you've shot it a few times it becomes less stiff. Great product!

i got the .22 caliber version of this B1 air rifle and have shot about 300 Crosman domed pellets through it so far. It does have a solid wood stock as advertised and the metal barrel is pretty stout and has good rifling. However, the sights out of the box are not that accurate at all. The rear sight has some wiggle to it and I had to put in some spacers (first image) to stop it from moving back and forth. It was also shooting way too low, so I had to put the slider to the second to last notch. After that, my pellets would land about 7 inches to the right when shooting at around 40 feet. i had to grab my pliers to physically move the front sight to the right (second image). it shots right on target now. I would've given 5 stars if it wasn't for me having to physically modify the sights for it to be accurate. It does have a notch to put a scope on it (third image), but I think the bulk of the front sight would get in the way.
