Funciono perfectamente para mi chevrolet sonic 2016 1.4t. Ciertamente es mas ruidoso que el original desde la segunda velocidad en adelante, pero también es cierto que sopla mas aire. Recomendado.

I don't understand some of these reviews. This motor is stronger then the OEM not slower 4 speeds not 3. In the 3 position it blows just as good as the oem did on 4! On 4 it blows crazy fast! The only problem I am having is is that it is making a noise. Don't know if it's the motor itself or it is rubbing on something where i cut the old blower out. Thought I have the opening cut out flush. Will wait for a cooler day to take it out to double check. So far I ran it about an hour without any issues!Update I reinstalled It was rubbing not the motor! No noise at all!!Very Happy Camper LOL

After blowing out a new blower resistor thinking that was why my high speed wasn't working, I decided that it was the blower motor going bad. I had jury rigged the old blower with a switch controlled straight 12 VDC which at least moved the air in 90 degree weather so I had figured that the old blower was functional. Wrong. It worked at full speed but replacing what I thought was the bad resister resulted in generating enough heat to melt the plastic in the connectors and opening up the resistor so none of the speeds worked. I bought this blower and a second resistor, swapped it out and everything works with no smoked connectors! When I say "perfect fit" that's exactly what it is. The old blower is molded into the plastic housing and has to be cut out for replacement. It had no mounting holes but this replacement has included the exact mounting tabs that line up with existing holes in the plastic housing, so I didn't have to jury rig some kind of mounts. REALLY pleased with it and the price is right.

The shipping for this item was fast, the fan speed is extremely slow compared to the OEM fan, also when the fan arrived the fan basket blades were in reverse to the original, it was opposite. So instead of sucking in air and blowing it out the inlet, it blew air back towards the cabin filter. Very disappointing.

Just finished installing this in my 2018 Chevy Sonic. Everything appears to be working like a charm! So far, it has worked on all four intensity settings. There are several videos online that show you how to install this, but here are a few additional things to note:1. This unit does not come with the necessary mounting screws, and nobody on the internet seems to know the correct screw size. I wound up buying 10 x 5/8" sheet metal screws at Home Depot (pictured). These worked.2. The best way to install the unit and get the old unit out is to lie on your back with your feet touching the passenger headrest and your head down under the dash. This requires some flexibility.3. Getting the floor air duct out was the hardest part of the project. Online videos make this look easy. It's likely I was doing something wrong, but I ultimately had to break and replace the plastic clip that held the duct in place.4. Advance, AutoZone, and O'Riley all wanted $200+ for this same unit. So despite the missing screws, this looks like a good deal!

This product was a replacement for my 2015 Chevy Trax. Once you cut the original out this one fits perfect. Make sure you remove the cover flange on the old unit and add it to this unit. It works on all four speeds. Its a DC motor and all speeds are controlled by control unit. The motor does what the control knob is set at. It works grreat.

The part itself works great - just as expected. The subpar part is that this was for a 2018 Buick Encore and unlike my previous fixes of this same issue in Honda's and Hyundai's, GM has decided you should have a PhD in Engineering in order to fix this simple issue. The original motor is molded into the The plastic housing that surrounds it SO you have to use a exacto knife or similar to cut the original out (not an easy task given the location of the motor under the glove box). The molding has locations for the mounting screws (because apparently they knew it would fail) but there are no screws included in the replacement so make sure to get those beforehand. Best of luck!

First off it does fit and does operate. But there is no additional hardware to help install after cutting the original out. So you have to go and find some screws that might hold it in place. Secondly, this is a 3 speed blower motor, not a 4 speed like the original. So when you set it to speed 4 it simply just shuts off. Aside from these issues everything else works and operates fine.

Excelente producto, se adapta perfectamente como remplazo del original del sonic 2016 1.6, solamente ahí que cortar el anteriro porque viene en una sola pieza pero trae la marca de donde cortar, así lo indica el manual de reparación, solamente ahí que usar 3 tornillos para colocar el nuevo, en mi caso use los 3 que cuenta la tapa del rotor del viejo ventilador, y sin problemas
