I've been using Aquarian drum heads for years. The TC14 has been my snare drum batter head of choice that entire time. The coating NEVER wears off. And if it does, Aquarian stands by their product and will replace it! I've even talked with Roy Burns in the past over the phone who took my call about a defective head. GREAT company and great products.

Bin von Remo Fellen zu Aquarian Snarefell gewechselt, nachdem ich gutes darüber gelesen hatte. Es ist ein solides Snarefell.Finde im nachhinein die Remo Felle sind besser verarbeitet. Daher 1 Stern abzug.

Originally I purchased this for a spare snare because it was cheap. As it has aged, though, I'm coming to like it more and more. The coating is tough. The sound is a little less crisp and more midrange than competing heads like the Remo Ambassador. I run it very tight on a steel snare and the results are pleasing to my ear. Not bad and very inexpensive.

This head went onto a Black Panther, Deep Forest Walnut 61/2 x 14. I'd used Remo and Evans up to this point and am very impressed w/ this Aquarian. I've needed a drumhead that would bring out the rich tone's of the walnut and this Aqaurian is doing just that. I'm strongly considering changing all the head's on my kit, to Aqaurian, as it is solid walnut, also. It seems to bring life to the wood. Happy drumming!

I have been playing all Aquarian heads for a few months now including this one. I play a Gretsch Catalina Bop. This head sounds great and is easy to tune. The sound is fat and warm and excellent tuned low or high. I used to geat a lot of overtones (aka: ringing) and this head eliminates that without destroying the natural resonance of the drum.I have played just about every type of Remo and Evans out there and I have to say the Aquarians are now my absolute favorite. I highly recommend this head!
