A couple issues.1. As others have mentioned, it is somewhat restrictive - the water drains quite slowly.2. After installing, it has a slightly higher profile than the original drain, so water in the sink doesn't drain completely.Glad I only bought one. A better choice is probably to replace the orig drain stem with a pop-up.

I initially didn't realize the clear top comes off and keeps it from working (do'h!). It seems to work well.

The stopper looks nice and does what it says it will do. However be careful with the basket that’s supposed to catch anything from going down the drain. It wasn’t attached very well and dropped down the drain. We were able to retrieve it with long nose pliers.

Very happy with this product, I got tired of removing stopper from under the sink to properly clean the drain pipe from the gunk. This product is easier and replaceable if needed. Easy to install and clean. The only issue if any is that the mesh is small and you do need to take it out more often but this is not difficult, I use an old toothbrush. Very happy and long overdue.
