This was exactly what I was looking for to ensure no water getting behind the tub faucet and into the wall space. I didn't feel that just a bead of caulk around the base of the faucet was sufficient for my peace of mind. So I saw this little device, and thought "perfect"! The 2 pieces mean no need to attempt to fit it over the pipe end, especially if it already has a fitting that the faucet screws onto. You put caulk on the back and along the edges of the pieces, fit them around the pipe, snap them together, and press to the wall. The faucet base fits completely over the disk. Great, simple solution!

Awesome part for making your tub truly water tight. It’s expensive for what it is but it’s worth every penny for what it accomplishes. Water always finds a way, this definitely stops it from sneaking through.

This seal worked wonders to prevent the back flow of water from the tub spout. I would have given it a perfect score if the piece had a slightly smaller circumference. It was just a bit too large to fit neatly inside the spout structure, so I had a small gap around to spout that then needed sealant. Not a huge problem, but aesthetically, not as clean looking as desired.
