They look healthy, but they are tiny. I was expecting at least a 2" x 2" pot and about 3"-4" tall.I got the expected size last year from a seller on Etsy for about the same price. Couldn't find them this year and got these. A bit disappointed. I'll be looking for that other seller more vigorously.

Planted 60 of these this morning. Most will probably make it. I need a few more so I will no doubt reorder only a smaller quantity. I just want others to know that the pictures are very misleading. The picture in the cardboard box is really out of line. These are very, very small seedlings. I figured they were but hoped they were a bit better than what I received. They seemed healthy but I feel there is room here for a lot of improvement on this offered product.Received my second order today and it was in terrible disarray. UPS handled them very carelessly. Out of 40 plants maybe there was 6 of them in the pots they were shipped in. Handle with care was on the box but no mention of live plants like on a Burpee box. The shipper doesn't have a clue about packaging. If there was a cello type cover with cutouts for the plants to keep them firmly in place in their pots it would prevent the disaster I received. A number of the seedlings had dried out roots. We planted and watered immediately. Will they live? Maybe?? My advice to one and all is beware and good luck.

We purchased 60 blue rug junipers and they were so healthy and size were as expected so within a few weeks we ordered 30 more. These came very healthy looking and even slightly bigger. We are very pleased with this vendor. We highly recommend and recommend to order in the fall months.

I have 5 beds of Blue Rug Junipers that are 25 years old - about 1000 in all. A number of them have died of old age so I thought I would replace some of them with these little 2" plants, I can wait for them to grow. They are an economical solution. In Feb of 2024 I ordered 90 of these. I planted them using an electric drill and a 2" auger - very easy with these small plants. Packed them with potting soil for shrubs and drenched with water & Miracle Grow. I was no at all sure what the survival rate would be. As of Dec 2024 every single one of them has survived the hot Georgia summer and are alive and growing just fine. I plan to buy some more in the spring. They are also in beds with landscape fabric and mulch which helps to retain moisture. Plant them with care and they will do fine.

Be aware that these junipers are extremely small. Some reviewers seem surprised by that fact, but they were exactly as I expected. I put them into railing planters and due to some negligence on my part with a lot of travel out of town during some scorching weather, they all shriveled up. There was barely a tinge of green left! But I pruned off the very dead parts, lined my coco railing planters with plastic with holes in it so they retained water better, and crossed my fingers. These little plants were so tough, they pulled through! Now almost exactly a year later, they're lush and beautiful. They've tripled in size and look so pretty dangling out of the railing planters. To get 10 plants at just under $5 per plant, this was a great price! Young plants need patience and care, but it's worth it for the savings.

The plants arrived in a poor attempt at packaging. The individual plant containers had been held in place but the plants had not been adequately secured in the container. So the plants must have come out of their containers during shipping because most of them were loose in the box and out of their soil. The roots were very dry. We put them in pots right away and watered them, but sadly most of them appear to be getting more brittle and dying. I'm still hopeful that the roots will survive and sprout new growth, but my hope is fading fast. Very sad about this. Was so looking forward to getting these planted this year.
