I upgraded my solar array and while working on it found out there was intense heat coming from somewhere (only 80 amps out of 200). Turns out the switch I had that was rated the same as this one was not actually very good. This one is a lot bigger and easier to get the 0/4 cable connected. I now run 200 amps through it and it doesn’t heat up at all.

This very heavy duty battery system on/off 600 amp switch is typical Blue Sea System design quality. The knob turn action is very positive, with clear position indication. The 12mm threaded terminals are designed for heavy current use. It should give good service for a long time. The only additional feature that would be useful for me, is a small LED indicator to confirm when the current output is switched on.

This thing is mental. build well and I do not believe it cannot handle the stated stats. and not a bad price either. using this to run 2 300amp output batteries with 600amp burst capability.

This switch is super heavy duty. It is good quality and works well. Used it in my RV solar install and was probably more switch then I needed which made it somewhat hard to work with for my needs.

Well made. Using for my winch in the Jeep and needed something that would hold up to 450 amps at full draw, this should do it.I’ll be installing as a surface mount with non-conductive material immediately below the lugs as they will be fairly close to the surface.After burning up one winch motor with a short I hope to prevent that, or worse, with this switch.

High quality switch that is ignition protected and IP66 waterproof rated. The connection studs are tin plated and long enough for each to hold multiple cable lugs. One side of the "single circuit" switch version (3000) has two lugs in common so there is even more room for cable connections. The 600A continuous, 900A (5 min) and 1750A (30 sec) ratings are adequate to handle heavy duty applications on boats and motorhomes. Note that the cable lug studs are for 1/2" diameter lugs, so if you are relocating cables from some other source you may need to drill out or replace your cable lugs. I have installed several of these and have never had a problem or failure.
