Perfect fit on the end of my extension pole and the rubber tip keeps the deck from getting marked. This works perfecly for fishing line out of the water or to set a line on a pole.

The hook seems to be a good quality hard plastic type material. The rubber cap will avoid scuffs from the plastic on the boat, I'm not sure if it will stay on, time will tell. Its standard size threads and fit my extension pole that I already owned snugly. The boat is away for the winter, but I'm sure this will help me when I have to dock it by myself and need to drop a spring line or push off the neighbors boat. The little round nubs at the end let me hold the dock line rope more securely. The pole in the picture is mine, I got the hook only.

I will install it on the very extension rod they suggest - that was my plan if I can find some bumper covers. The blue bumper simply pushes over any one of the knob ends. And they should have simply included several more such that the other knobs could be protected against my wood boat and or to act as spares in case one is lost. So simple to include some as I will not be able to locate a place to obtain more. And for the price they should have. I mean if you think about it the round ball part will make a point contact , very prone to a dent on a lot of surfaces

This product is the hook only, you need to buy the pole separate. For that reason I suggest getting the pole and hook sold together!

Nice boat hook. Made of hard ABS plastic. Screws onto a 3/4 expansion pole. Also can be used to grab ropes. Great value!
