Materiale molto valido. Robusto e ben fatto. Installazione semplice. Consigliato.

Couldn't have made it any easier to install this hood lock for the Jeep JK. Took all of 30 minutes. Really like the fact there are no additional keys to carry. Lock codes to your ignition key. Great product for added security on your engine compartment. Not to mention it secures your hood a little tighter when closed.

I like the face it uses your OEM key. Ez install. Even comes with new inserts to hold your grill in place. The rivets are Huge. Your standard river gun will not work on them. I just went to harbor freight and picked one up.

After 14 months with summer heat wave, rain, snow and freezing temperatures, I can verify it is still sturdy and functioning. Very easy to install, pay close attention to keying instructions. This Bolt brand is popular as I found my mechanic knew it when I said I have a locked hood. Says he sees them on other Jeep he’s worked on.

First, this hood lock fits perfectly with the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK & JKU, despite what Amazon's tells you. Some of the reviews talk about how easy it is to bypass this lock but I seriously tried and couldn't do it. Any lock can be bypassed eventually, but It's a deterrent and I'm not worried about someone bypassing this just to steal a battery or other engine components without taking some time. This lock is very well made and durable and installation was a breeze. The fact that it keyed to my ignition key was one of the primary selling points, as I don't want another key to add to my key ring.Installation: It took about 15 minutes to install. You do need a rivet tool that takes 1/4" rivets to install the lock. I bought one with this lock for an additional $20 that worked perfectly fine. The kit comes with 4 rivets and 6 plastic inserts to replace the ones on the front grill you most likely will need to replace one you remove the original ones. There are a few videos on you tube and from the manufacturer that will explain how to install it., but it's really easy. It's great that the key can not be removed when the key is turned to unlock, making sure you don't inadvertently forget to lock it.This should also fix issues with hood flutter at high speeds. The lock tightens the hood once engaged. This is definitely a better option than the hood latches that lock!

Installed in about 15 minutes, including the removal and re-installation of the front grille. The lock was set to my key very simply. Insert the key, turn it, and you’re done. You’ll need a tool to install rivets. It’s like $20 at the hardware store or, in my case, my buddy had one. I believe you’ll need a 1/4” adapter for it.This is one of the first things I would do to a Jeep Wrangler. Otherwise, anyone can open your hood at any time and take your battery or do who knows what to your engine.Very well made and will also solve any hood flutter at high speeds because it holds the hood down tighter. From what I’m seeing, Mopar licensed this product and they sell it more expensive. I decided to go straight to the inventor/manufacturer.

This is my second one of these. First on was on a 2016 JKUR. Kate’s strong for 5 yrs. Just traded to the 2022 gladiator and it fit on 99% perfectly. I say 99% because you have to push down the hood a little in order for the catch to connect. It just barely gets on there but it’s enough to keep the hood down.I had a rivet set so that made it a 5min install. I used bolt cutters to cut the grill sent to get at the hole. You can’t really notice the cut. I didn’t use the pattern i just cut away the hex that needed the room to get at it. Then i shaved down the extra parts with a nice to make it smooth. I wish it had a finished option for the gladiator but i will just make one with my 3D printer to give it that “finished” look. One of those things i took into account. It’s made for a JK/JL with slight mod during install. I knew this going in.With those two things it’s more like a 4.5 but they were so minor i couldn’t go down to a 4. It was quick, easy, and works. If your looking for a less expensive add-on for added security and keeping the hood down; this is it. I like this for security but more because it keeps the pressure off the hood latches. Peace of mind.

I can cite numerous instances when one manufacturer makes products that get branded under different resellers names. I am very suspicious that this is an instance of that. I found the lock mounting hardware to be well made and sturdy. As for those complaining about buying a riveting tool, HARBOR FRIEGHT or pick up nuts and bolts. Though the product comes with pop rivets you don't have to use them!I have a Warn winch mounted in the bumper with a Maximus-3 mounting plate. As such I am not able to remove my grill without first removing the winch, a time consuming proposition. Consequently I did both methods to accomplish the install.I used the pop rivets to secure the mounting plate on the top (I like the look of this best, looks factory installed) and then since I can't move my grill far enough to access the mounting holes to rivet from the front I used nuts and bolts. Your hood will be just as secure using nuts and bolts as the rivets. It took a bit of fanaggling to to get a nuts on the bolts that go in from the front. You can't get an angle to get a wrench on the nut through the opening on top of the latch. (I used the nuts with nylon inserts and a washer on the bolt.)In order to get a wrench on the nuts inside the channel I had to tape electrical tape on the closed end of the wrench, push it down inside from the top, position the open end of wrench on nut and tighten the nut. Then get the wrench off the nut and use the electrical tape to get wrench repositioned for retrieval.Keying my ignition key worked as described. Love not having to have different keys.I had already purchased grill inserts so I am having to reorder the same model only with the opening to accommodate the lock. I cut my insert with a Dremel so I can access the lock for now. I did some searching for a grommet that would fit the opening and give it a finished look. I've given up and and reordering inserts with the lock opening.I agree with all those voicing opinion that a hood lock should be standard on Wranglers. There are too many valuable items under the hood even if you don't to any modifications starting with the battery and the hood itself (power hood on Hard Rock).
