Matching Socket and Lamp Cord Set in Matching Color Finish
3-Way (for 3-way light bulbs) lamp socket with brass plated shell for standard size bulbs. Medium Base (E-26) light socket with 1/8 IPS socket cap w/Set Screw, 250W-250V - Also works with regular bulbs and LED bulbs. Socket cap has 1/8 threaded base.
8 Foot SPT-1 matching color, 18/2 Plastic Covered Lamp Cord - Wire Sets. High quality U.L. CSA listed lamp cord sets with polarized plugs and stripped, copper-tipped ends. 18/2 105° U.L. CSA
5/8 Inch 1/8 IP Steel Running Thread Nipples (3/8" O.D.) with rust resistant yellow zinc plate.
Locking washer and hex nut for threaded pipe. Only basic screwdriver and pliers are needed to complete this repair.

Purchased a lamp at thrift and switched the original broken wire for this. So was easy to install and much cheaper then buying a new lamp.

We found a beautiful pink glass and brass lamp at an antique store out of town. It looked nice on display...but when we got it back to the Flour Box Tearoom, a closer look revealed that the lamp needed a rejuvenation. The cord was nicked and frayed and the socket seemed to be coming apart. We found this socket and corset on Amazon and knew this was exactly what the lamp needed (amongst other accessories). Our lamp as a 3-position switch that switches: base only, main socket only, both sockets, and OFF. This cord set was easy to install and has breathed new life into our lamp.

I rewired an antique table lamp with this product. Instructions were good, but i am not experienced. Lamp works beautifully, but it took a few tries.

I have never replaced a light socket before, but I went at it on an antique brass footed lamp. I had my husband double check my work because I really wasn’t quite positive that I had the right wires, but that was just my lack of confidence - he confirmed I had it correct. I got the antique brass color and it matches my existing harp, arms and post beautifully.

This is perfect for re-wiring an old lamp as long as the path from lamp base to neck is relatively straight or wide. Like other reviewers, I had trouble figuring out which wire was the ribbed neutral wire. I am a total beginner. The "ribbing" is vertical raised stripes down the edge of one side of the plastic covered wire. I stared, magnified, touched, and got a second opinion... finally used my tongue and that makes it more obvious which is the ribbed wire. The lamp works great now!
