I haven't tested it in the backcountry yet, but my initial impression is satisfactory. It's not as loud as other burners and it fits in my 750mL pot, with a 4oz can, perfectly. I've read that it's not as fuel efficient as other popular light weight burners, but it's perfect for my application.

When it works it’s great quality made heavy duty carry case. But had an issue with mine when on low heat for a couple of minutes it would not turn up just stayed on low with reg turned up fully this happened several times so had to return it and get a replacement maybe I just got a bad one.

I have bought two of these now and they rock! The soto-windmaster esc design concave burner head really does work well in a breeze and this thing blows the doors off the msr offerings honestly. Goated tier

So MSR copied Soto? And Campingmoon copied both? Then charged half as much? Ok.Works, no defects, and light enough at 99 grams(157g with bag).Was able to add support and repurpose the bag for a Flextail Max 3. Smaller, less than half the weight, and 0% the cost of the $20 case from Flextail. Win win win.

It works but it is quirky putting it together. The pot stand section has to be spread open and positioned so. It clips on to. The top of the burner. It looks like it should attach at a groove cut into the burner base just above the igniter but that will not irk because part f the pot stand must go over the edge of the burner to keep it stale. If you connect the post stand wrong you will not be able to use it safely. It will be unable to hold post.When you figure out how to connect the stand and burner it works well and seems to be quite stable. The flame control is good, it will go from just barely a flame to a really large flame (picture is full blast).The case is okay, I wish it had molle attachment to strap it to the outside of my pack but it will nest inside a 750ml pot with the lid on (without the fuel canister) and I can put the gas canister in the mesh bag with the 750ml pot if I put the lid of the pot in the bottom of the mesh bag so I have the burner, pot, lid, fork, spoon and gas all in one mesh pouch.

This is a awesome little burner. It will boil water very fast. Very wind resistant. Great product. I have many, this is one of my favorites!
