Bought for my 14 year old. He says it's warm and the wind doesn't blow through like his other coat. Bought him a size Large. He's 5'9 and about 130lbs. This coat is big enough that he can wear layers underneath which is needed in a South Dakota winter.

This coat is bright and easily seen when outside. It keeps me way warmer than I expected. We have had sub zero temperatures and as long as I am dressed properly, I have stayed warm. The coat has a nice reflective interior to maintain body heat. The hat portion does a good job, except it is HUGE. You can remove the fringe around the top, which is a bonus. Lots of pockets everywhere. Could not be more pleased with my purchase!

We bought two - a black one and this red one. Keeps you very warm with room to layer to customized comfort. Glad we bought when we did, because these have been a lifesaver during these extreme frigid conditions we have been exploring up north.

I am very happy with this coat, this is probably the warmest coat I've own in awhile. The past few days have been down in the single digits and you can literally wear a t-shirt and still stay warm. There's a lot of pockets which I love too. The hood is not detachable but the fur strip is. It's roomy, I bought a XL and there's plentyof room if you wanted to wear a hoodie too, which I'm telling you that you won't need to. Quality is good, everything seem strong enough to survive the washer or working outside. So definitely a good buy.

The overall fit and quality for the price is an amazing value. I was in the market for a winter coat after moving to Alaska and my online searches showed most of them costing me $250-400. Just for the heck of it I did a search on Amazon and found this coat for $74. It looks as nice, if not nicer than all the other higher priced options. The fit is very good. Sizing seems to be spot on. The cuffs around the wrist will stop cold air from entering. I'll update this review if the coat seems to be of low quality with split seams, etc.

I ordered XXL So I could wear another jacket under it. I work 25% of my 8 hour shift outside. It's been COLD this past week. Pennsylvania...Wind. I probably could have gotten a XL I'm a approximately 170lb woman . The hood only has snaps to secure a fabric with 2 snaps to go under chin. Wish drawstrings were still a thing but nobody has them ( great for Wind ) 1 inside pocket velcro. Big enough for phone or wallet. One zipper pocket on chest...big enough for phone and wallet. The other pockets all snaps. It will do for what I want it for...a second layer. Would suggest Legendary Whitetail brand for overall Winter wear. LOTS of great pockets but can't find a big enough one.. I took away 1 star...the lack of anything to secure the hood...to tighten...if it's windy it may blow off your head....depending on the fit on each person. ☆☆☆Edit... As others have mentioned I'm not 100% thrilled with zipper. I won't be wearing every day in Winter so it will do. It's plastic..not metal..teeth. Again it's very warm. And I'm a wuss about the cold.
