Overall it’s what I expected for the price, I put it right on my dash, used the brackets and fastened it into place I ran an old thick gauge extension cord from my battery through the firewall into the cab of my truck, my heater core went out and I don’t want to pull the dash so far it’s great and it’s not gonna do what folks are expecting it too look at the price but it works and after a while it does warm up the cab, I’m thrilled money is tight and it keeps me and my work truck a little more comfortable on those 25 degree mornings.

Most of these car heaters on Amazon people complain don't heat at all. This one actually does produce heat and I measured it using my Lifepo4 12v battery App that shows the current draw when I attach a load to my battery. It measured 506 watts when both switches were turned on and decent heat was coming from all 4 ports. The reason for four stars is because it's not as advertised at 800 watts. And the second issue is there's a plastic smell coming from the unit. I ran it for a few hours in my bathroom with the fan on hoping that would burn off any of the factory oils Etc and while the smell did get less it is still there. My guess is it is coming from the foam they use to insulate the heating coil from the outer metal box. It's probably getting warm considering it's touching the heating element and emitting some sort of fumes that smell like burning plastic. I'm going to try running it for a few more hours in my garage and see if that gets rid of the issue.

We ordered this and it didn’t last one day and the switch stop working not worth the money very disappointed in it .

very quiet...seems to be 2 small units screwed together, using a extra set of hanging brackets... I separated mine into two small units and mounted them where they work best...enough to keep my windshield clear, but I think not enough heat to make much difference in cabin temp, at least not in my old truck...will be nice to drive away with a very short warm up this winter

Fans are too small to move any air. The heat output is about 1/4 the advertised. Sent back the day after I got it after waiting a month. Don’t waste your time

Absolutely garbage, put it in my sxs, doesn’t even blow hard enough to feel any heat, and will kill your battery in 15 minutes if u forgot to shut it off, cause u can’t even hear the fan running!!!
