These kept the paint from chipping,BUTalong with the sun these removed the clear coat of my vechile and also color of the vechiles paint!! See photo. Had the paint buffed and it was verified, only paint job would remedy the problem. Do Not Purchase!

There were no directions for how to use these, but if you look at the photos in the listing, it's pretty simple. It certainly has helped to stop my car from getting all scratched up by the metal clips on my bike rack. I wish I had known about these before, as they would have prevented my car finish from getting damaged. If you have an inexpensive removable bike rack, get these so your car doesn't end up scratched up like my old car!

I got these protectors for two reasons: 1) to prevent the bike rack from rubbing against the car and 2) to protect the bike from rubbing against the bike rack. This protector works well for the first reason. Alternatively, I need to double up the protector pads to get enough surface area. Nevertheless, it works well, and I wish they had a bigger version for versatility.

I got a new car but my bike rack is really old. I wanted to make sure my old bike rack wouldn't damage my new car. These protectors work really well. They are easy to put on with just a little more effort than putting the rack on without the protectors. They are made of a good solid rubber. One side is really smooth and soft feeling and the other is textured and a little tougher feeling. I don't worry about the hooks on the bike rack scratching up my new car anymore. I just need to worry about my bike doing that now. Nice, quality, cheap. Very happy with these.

I have a cool bike rack that I'd wanted for the longest time to put on my car, except I worry that it would scratch my precious car lol. Enter this scratch protector.. works as advertised, protects your car against scratches. Now I take my bikes for rides in scenic places while keeping my car in pristine condition. Highly recommended!

I've got back into cycling and purchased a bike rack to attach to the truck of my car but the feet and brackets were made of hard plastic that would scratch the paint... While searching for a solution I found these and they're perfect for my needs plus affordable...

There were no instructions on how to loop the straps through these protective pads, so took some trial and error to figure out how they should be oriented, but otherwise they are doing the job protecting the paint on my new car from a bike rack that is mounted on the rear hatch using nylon web straps.I hope that when I remove the rack, the protective pads will com off easily without marring the finish
