The carburetor was an exact match. One small problem. The carburetor primer fitting on the carburetor was broken. It was a plastic hose Barb fitting that got broken in shipping. Didn’t have time to send it back and used epoxy to fix the problem. When all was assembled, snow blower fired right up. I was very happy. Blowing snow in Indiana!

Seems well made. Carburetor was an exact replacement for the original on my Troybilt Storm 2410. It was moderately easy to install; I say this since this was a first for me, so the learning curve was kind of high. The bolt holes lined up perfectly, the gaskets were well made; however, on the one that mates with the back of the carburetor, the small hole in the upper right of the gasket was off by, I'd say, about 1/32" from where the original one was located, but this didn't seem to keep the engine from running smoothly. The engine hadn't been able to run on the lean setting for quite some time; I'd say probably about 6 years, and I was having to run it on about half-choked for it to run smoothly, but no more, replacing the carburetor took care of that problem. I think this was because the old carburetor's jets must be partially plugged. I thought about taking it apart and cleaning them and reinstalling, but heck, for just $19 why not just replace it? I was very surprised when I opened the box and found that the kit (and it is a kit, not just a carb) included gaskets, a fuel shut off valve, a primer bulb, a fuel filter, new clamps, and a short piece of vinyl tubing; that's what I call VALUE! Can't speak to quality since I just installed it yesterday, but there are very few moving parts so I expect it will last a long time. This, of course, is dependent on me draining or burning the fuel left in the tank and draining the fuel left in the carburetor bowl as well as using fresh fuel or adding fuel stabilizer to the left over fuel before storing it (Lucas upper cylinder lubricant fuel stabilizer is a great product to use for this).

Read alot of reviews for this Carb, the most concerning thing I read were the gaskets don't match OEM. THEY DO, all 4 from intake valve all the way out to the air intake gasket were exact no trimming no home made gaskets needed. My 13 year old Troybilt storm 2410 has been through 2 carb rebuilds on the original and this year it just could not run right. I took a flyer on this new carb and now it is running like new. Worth every penny of the $18 price tag even if it lasts for just one season (I'll buy one every year if it saves me from buying a new machine at $900+)

There was a holdup on shipping but the product was great. Bolted right up and started quickly. Lacked one gasket I thought would be there and another gasket had to be trimmed, but no big deal
