This is a good idea, however my cat chooses to scratch around the plastic, he's too cute, but I also bought cat scratch deterrent. That seems to help.

It's not very thick at all and my cats were easily able to Scratch through it. It's thinner then lamenting plastic. Not worth the time it took for me to put it on just having to replace it in a few days.

Total waste of money. The stickiness does not last long. It came off after a day. I reapplied it and same thing happened again. My cats are back to scratching where it is.

So I really like these, they were on maybe a couple hours lol then my 20 month old gets home and notices them on the furniture. Well let’s just say they didn’t last long.I’m sure they are great for cats and not allowing them to scratch up your furniture but I didn’t get a chance to test that out.They stick really well to my couch, we have a linen fabric couch. They are not very thick and super easy to stick on. They actually don’t look terrible either, I wouldn’t have minded them to stay on a little longer.

Just as described. Plenty of sheets to do the whole room. Sticky back doesn't hold too well though.Cats won't scratch them. Does the job.

These are a great idea. My son moved in temporarily with two cats and a dog. I placed them on the door, trim if the door, under doors over carpeting, base of the stairs (carpet), and back of my sofa. It is not sticking the best on the back of my sofa. I am not sure why because it sticks every where else. I cut them to fit the spaces I need them.

The clear plastic sheets are sturdy and actually do deter scratching -- on materials that you can get it to stick on. This is almost impossible to tell until you actually try to get them to adhere to your particular fabric. When it DOES stick, my cat steers clear. It does come with extra screw-in tacks. Most cats, from reviews, ignore them. But not my cat! She wrangled them, so I removed them. Oh well.... my quest continues to get my very active adoptee trained to other surfaces... like cardboard scratchers and I just ordered a carpeted scratching post since she ignores the huge sisal cat tree we got her. Bottom line: Works fine if it sticks and disappears such that it's not intrusive visually.
