I beat the hell out of BOB 2 to 3 times a week. I appreciate how tough he is! This is one well made body bag. BOB is an excellent addition to my workout. The material seems to be very durable.

I wanted a punching dummy and this one is supposed to be the best, so even though it seemed a little expensive, I bought it anyway.It seems like it's made of high quality material and will probably last a long time, but it's not very sturdy. I filled the base up to the top with water like the instructions said, but punching to dummy in the face at the lowest height with about 30% of my strength makes the whole thing tip a little bit and then thump back onto the floor. This might not be a problem in the basement of your house, but in an apartment it's a problem.I'm a fairly big guy and I'm fairly strong, but this is supposed to be for MMA training which means men much bigger and stronger than me are supposed to be able to punch and kick it. That said, I'm surprised how wobbly the dummy is and how easily the base lifts up off the ground when punched with less than half my strength. And that's only at the lowest height. When I raise the dummy up higher so I'm punching a taller opponent, it almost feels like I could knock the dummy completely over if I punched it too hard.I like the quality of the product but I'm definitely disappointed that I can't punch this thing hard and get some stress out without it wobbling and moving all over the place. At this price point, it should be very sturdy even when a very strong person hits it very hard.

It was very durable but TERRIBLE TO PUT TOGETHER, the holes on the back were not aligned and we had to literally struggle to move the rubber to get it to align … after an hour of angry struggle we got it …. Even with the bottom full of sand it made ALOT of noise , ofc it’s heavy I would say buy one from a store if you’re anything like me

BOB arrived at the house a day early and just as described. After reading some reviews on Amazon I saw posts relating that it was hard to get BOB postioned properly (holes lined up) to afix BOB on the plastic insert. I had the same problem, BOB would only go down so far on the insert before he would bind up and refused to go any further. The instructions recommend soapy water but I figured that would just be a mess. I overcame this by putting BOB in the morning sun for approximately 15 minutes, flipped him like a pancake for another 10 minutes, and brought him in the garage when he felt lightly warm. In 5 minutes, BOB was propely affixed and ready to go to work. BOB construction is such that with a little warmth he becomes easier to mold over the insert. I suggest you fill the base first as it gives a good adjutable working foundation to work on BOB. BOB is better than a heavy bag and it makes training for accurate strikes much easier.

Takes some muscle to pull him over the plastic pole and line up the back screws but once that's done he's solid. LOTS of water in the base but once loaded up he can take the best of beatings. Kids are LOVING it and we Household Elders work him over from time to time too.

After an easy set up (I'm 6' 3") & some water in the base I am getting down to the science of landing some good boxing blows. Maybe it's just in my head but a life like form works better for me than any heavy bag ever did. Bob took it right on the chin! The instructions that come with it are straight forward; however if you are not that strong get help putting Bob together. For me it wasn't a big deal but a smaller person may have problems. Read The Instructions Before Attempting Assembly !!!

i took kung fu lessons for a year when i was in my 20's. I'm 71 years old right now. and i want to get back in shape. I'm so glad i got this bob. it's realistic in human form. i always hated punching at air. bob made punching fun. and this thing is super durable. it's made out of some super tuff stuff for sure.

Bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and he just loved it, doesn’t stop thanking me and says it was the best gift he ever got from someone. I could not be happier, because since he said it was his dream to have a Bob, I immediately came here to start looking for a Bob to give him. He has anxiety, and Bob has been his valve of escape every single day working out. Bob can be punched without fear that it will tear up, trust me. It’s been 3 months now my Bf has been using him and he’s still looking brand new. Incredible!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
