The 'Versys vs. BOB' seems to be a very solid product so far. I haven't had a regular BOB before, so I can't say exactly how much better this is, but so far I think "a lot".First, with this version of BOB, there's no heavy base underneath, so you can step right where he's standing to deliver more power (thinking elbow to the ribs). Speaking of the heavy base, this one has three 20lb sandbags that prevent tipping, but keep it easy to move around. The additional arms and legs make him more realistic and ideal for close quarter training.These extra features may not be necessary for the type of training you're planning on doing, but for me it was worth the extra money to get this version of BOB!

Bob is a good quality, and heavy duty material. I have this in a home gym area.I did put two additional sandbags at the base to prevent Bob from sliding and rocking.Need two people and about 10 or 15 minutes to put together. The zipper on the torso is a good quality. Easy to clean, easy to wipe down for a home gym.

The arms are not adjustable and neither is the height. The best workout you'll get with this is when you try to put it together. Makes a decent coat rack.

Lieferung, Qualität und Kommunikation waren sehr gut. Es hatten zwei Sandsäcke gefehlt, was ich auch geschrieben habe. Ich wurde keine 24 Stunden später angerufen von einer sehr freundlichen und netten Mitarbeiterin, welche den Fall aufnahm. Anstandslos (obwohl das wohl zuvor noch nicht vorkam) wurden mir binnen weniger Tage die fehlenden Sandsäcke (ohne Sand/ zum beschweren der Puppe am Boden) zugesandt. Alles super gelaufen. Vielen Dank.

Bob is there through thick and thin.The type of guy that you can hug, talk smack to, and whoop and he’ll just stand there and take it like a champ. Overall great sport.Visitors sometimes get a little spooked when they see bob after entering the home which is hilarious. I also decorate bob with a sweater — It makes cleaning a lot easier, and because clothed people are more realistic to encounter than topless ones.I get a kick out of BOB and I hope to keep him for a Century!

A little tough to practice hooks because the arms get in my way, but that is its own challenge, and I can always turn BOB around and hook from the back. My balance has improved with home access to BOB and my workouts are more fun. I think a friend has decided he needs one too.

Das einzige was nicht gut gelöst ist, sind die 3 kleinen Sandtaschen am Boden zum befuellen. Zu leichte, schlechte wegen naehte, auch der Stoff zu dünn für den Sand. Verliert Sand aus den naehten. Die beiden Hälften des dummis waren ein wenig tricki diese zusammen zu bringen mit Reißverschluss aber geht. Für schlaege jeder Art und gewisse Hebel Block Techniken sehr brauchbar.Sehr teuer aber es lohnt sich wenn kein Partner immer zur Verfügung steht.

Know what you are buying and it should be good for a while. I have had the bob, bob xl, and now this. I have a fairtex grappling dummy. The fairtex is a step up in quality from the bob vs, due to the stitching, legs/arms connection to torso, and feel. The bob vs is kinda a gimmick with the material connections and jacket style setup. Overall this is a tall decent item that has unique features. No it will not replace a 6ft muay thai bag for low kicks, however, you can use this for some basic things. I would not recommend this over a muay thai bag for power kicks. I wouldn’t recommend pushing or pulling on the arms or legs too much. So no kimuras or stomp kicks. I put pool noodles in the base instead of sand and it retains its lightweight feel and is solid overall. I practice takedown drills with it and slams, if you are gentle like you would be with a training partner its all good. You can also use it for guard recovery drills and escapes. Assemble was easy, just zip it initially then single collar tie towards you while knee pressing into it and zip with your free hand, do this on sides and front and its an easy zip job, with no cables or chairs needed.

It does not worth $700. I purchased it from century's website and within the first couple of weeks, it got damaged on the bottom It is also unstable. I had to remove everything inside and saw the leather all over. it is still unstable.if someone needs video or pictures, let me know.
