I love using this during Christmas for my shortbread cookies. The pattern was faint, which I could get it with a stronger print out. But they looked great. It's a smaller rolling pin then I thought.

The wood is poorly cured before carving pattern into it it has large cracks going through the entire rolling pin. It is garbage. It is made out of a soft wood not a hardwood.

I roll out with my smooth roller, then the last roll is with the patterned roller. Grandkids love my left over pie crust made into imprinted cookies.

Used to make shortbread cookies and the pattern stayed very well for a first try! I would suggest rolling your dough a little thicker than what you want so that you can press down firmly with the patterned roller without stretching it too thin. The roller was extremely easy to clean, not much different from scrubbing down a normal pin. I’m very happy with my purchase 😊
