First, I wish the spout had a no-drip design. I'm using it for things like maple syrup and salad dressing, it dribbles a lot down the spout every single pour. (Maybe these work best with some particular viscosity?)Second, the cap is not great to close. At first I considered it aesthetic and merely wished it would close more easily with a satisfying snap. But then I watched how a 10-year-old repeatedly made the jar tip/slip/slide over every time she went to close it...Basically when the cap comes down it needs quite an extra shove on the outer edge for that half of the dimple to nest in the spout. So she would press down with her finger on the part of the cap which was still up (the outward side) to make it go down, but of course mason jar bottoms are rounded so pressing hard on the outer side of the spout unfortunately means the bottom of the jar slides out from under itself.Yes, the solution is for her to stop trying to do that and use two hands. So, it does provide some desirable functionality and it hasn't been amazing. I find I am using it less than I planned to, and I wish I had paid less, but it's not terrible. I might keep using them or not.(For the tipping issue, I wonder if the regular-mouth size would be better better since those jars have shoulders and the far rim of the spout would not be so far towards the edge of those jars. But I am not sure I have enjoyed this product enough to motivate buying a regular-mouth sized one to try.)

I've tried so many mason jar lids and these are by far my favorite. They are indeed leakproof. I toss my jars into my bag with no worries. The seal works perfectly and is easily removable for washing. (They also sell replacement seals.) The opening has a satisfying and reassuring snap when you close it. Other styles and brands pop open if you look at them wrong, these stay put until you intend to open them. I have no worries when shaking up my morning smoothie. The large opening is great fro drinking, pouring, or putting a straw into. Other than the ring for the removable seal, there are no tiny crevices, so it is easy to clean and dishwasher safe.I also like the version with the handle. I can make tea in a half gallon jar and easily pour it into glasses.

Seals well. easily tightens and loosens from the jar. The only design flaw is that the flip lid doesnt stay open by itself so when you pour from the jar, the lid trys to flip down in the way of the stuff you are pouring.

These are the only lids I use after trying many brands that have flaws. I use them whenever I need a good seal, regardless of whether I need the pour spout or not. They work flawlessly, clean easily, do not seem to hold odors, and have been in constant use. Sometimes the contents of jars have gotten moldy and I could clean thoroughly and easily with confidence that no mold would be transferred to the next batch. The pour spouts are great, making these lids widely versatile in all sizes of wide mouth Mason jars. I use them for homemade juice, kefir, kraut and a variety of ingredients and leftovers. I keep buying more because they expand the possibilities of storage. I tried others and was disappointed that they leak, rust or simply can't be screwed on straight. Yes, these are a bit pricey but I don't have any hesitation using them because I know they will perform perfectly.

I had bought a Pitcher size Mason Jar from Amazon about 3 years ago and loved it so much, I bought a 2nd one! All was well until I heard a noise the other day, went in the kitchen and my metal stew pot fell off the top of the fridge and hit the Pitcher ! Thankfully only the plastic lid was damaged, a piece broke off it, at least the glass didn't break! I looked online and was thrilled to find this replacement lid - how many companies offer that? And it is from the same company County Line ! I ordered it and Amazon got it to me the next day (THANK YOU) and it was only then that I discovered it didn't have the handle on it like my old one did. But you know what? Not a problem, I can grasp it by the glass body and take it out of the fridge. As a matter of fact, I may like it even better, time will tell. That handle won't get in the way. Truth be told, I was always worried that handle would break and the pitcher would fall to the floor and break in a million pieces, so this is actually better! Thanks County Line. I love you !

I got those a few months ago and they are used regularly for liquids in wide mouth jars. They go into the dishwasher several times a week and so far have held up perfectly. The silicone ring creates an absolute tight seal with nothing leaking. For cleaning you need to remove the silicone ring and this is very easy. The well thought through design has a little notch where you can go under and lift the ring out from. I use either a butter knife or the end of a teaspoon. Really great, I am going to order a few more now.

I bought this hoping to be able to use a mason jar as my daily water bottle, so I was a little skeptical that it would hold up for very long. However, after getting the thing, I have to say it's pretty solid. The plastic is beefy in all the right places, and the lid shuts securely without leaking. I can even shake it without holding the lid closed, though I don't intend to see how long that lasts. The design of the threads and the placement of the oring was well executed, too. The lid screws on easily and does not leak, but unlike many mason jar lids it doesn't take a gorilla to get it off. The opening is nice and wide, so it works well with smoothies, but not so wide that drinking water from it results in getting your beard wet. (If you have one) The lid does have a tendency to touch my nose while I'm drinking, so make sure you wipe it if you're chugging a chocolate protein shake or something, because if you don't you'll have it on your nose.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this lid.
