Quality seems good but ends are metal and the guard is very wide so it looks a little off. Going to see if I can add some sliders instead

These things are called "crash bars" but riders all know they're really there for something other than crashes, primarily, although they do offer some level of engine protection in an actual crash. The reason for such bars are mostly for protections against dropping ("laying down") a big, heavy bike and also they serve as a place to attach foot pegs, or even simply as leg rests directly on the crash bar. I put this bar on my Low Rider which is done in blackout from the factory so I got the black model and I'll start with saying that the powdercoat is very good. As far as the looks, I like the minimalism of a single bar on a bike like this that evokes the old Dyna (before the new monoshock era) and I just don't want it to have a heavy, over-dressed look that I'd expect to see on a full size tourer/dresser bike like the Road Glide or Street Glide series. So I'm happy with the look of it, and it mounts at a great height to function as a footrest or legrest. I have not (yet) attached pegs to it and I might not do so ever because it's pretty comfortable and the powdercoat is sufficiently good that it's OK with my sneakers or riding boots resting on it. The ends have the rubber wheels on them which I like so that I don't feel like it will dig in and flip if I over-lean in a turn and can't straighten without going off the road - it's a bad situation with a stationary bar and soft asphalt. It's a good solution to a problem created by bars designed to protect the bike and the rider and I'm happy with how this bar implements it. I like this bar and I think it's a very high quality, well-made product.

Fit perfect. Easy install. feel sturdy. Your primary and pegs and bags still touch when laying on the ground. But it does protect your bars and tank great.
