This was a super fun and amazing crochet kit! The yarn was vibrant and looked exactly like the picture. It was an easy starter kit with easy instructions and it was super fun! It looks just like the picture and is definitely worth the price! Its a great gift idea too. I would totally recommend this.

Terrific little craft kit with everything you need to make the cute amigurumi of your choice. I make a lot of toys, but also a lot of what I call chair socks. If you have hard floors, they make moving them a breeze and eliminate scuffs. So, when I saw these, I had to try it out. I've made amigurumi plants and I've crocheted a lot of leg covers, but never thought of combining the two. How fun! Although I didn't need them, any beginner will appreciate the tutorial videos that accompany the clear instructions. Watch them once or repeatedly until you feel confident to continue, rather than get frustrated trying to figure something out. Perfect for anyone wanting to try something new, regardless of age. Having everything included also saves a beginner from needing a large investment in products when you're just trying to see if you like something or don't have the storage space for a new crafting hobby. Whether making something for yourself or as a small gift with a personal touch, this kit is one of the good ones on the market and I highly recommend the brand after trying one out.

I'm a newbie who is struggling to find the time to finish learning and finish the kit, but here are my impressions so far. The kit is unassuming at first coming in a very generic box, but inside is a quality kit. The yarn feels good quality and soft. They even gave you a little extra to start practicing with. The hooks are big and comfortable. It also has all the other little bits and bobs you need. It also comes with two books. First is the teaching manual that gets you started and teaches the basics. The other is the instructions to make the doll. Both are beautifully printed. and durable. It will be easy to follow them. I can't wait to actually make headway into the actual doll, but for now this has been a good kit to practice the starting techniques with.

Yeah I can't do this. I tried but the instructions were a bit less than helpful. All the materials were included in the kit and are decent quality and the whale design is cute. I'll try again after I watch a few videos.

This is a nice little kit. As far as I can tell, it has all the tools and materials needed to make a little green Big Eye Monster.I got this for my daughter because she's a big fan of Monster's Inc. Although I'm sure any resemblance to Mike Wazowski is purely coincidental and definitely doesn't infringe on anyone's copyright.Anyway, she loved it. However, it's been almost 2 months now and she hasn't even held it in her hands for a total of one minute yet. So it might be a while before I can offer a proper review. For now, I'll give it 5 stars for having the courage to sell this character without licensing it. If she ever puts it together, I'll come back and give you an update.

ProsEverything You Need in One Kit – I really appreciated that this set came with everything I needed to get started: yarn, a hook, scissors, and clear instructions. As someone new to crocheting (or returning after years), this was a huge help.Perfect for Beginners – The kit is super beginner-friendly. I love how the project has you repeat the same pattern, which really helped me build my skills and confidence.Extra Yarn for Practice – There’s extra yarn included, which was such a great feature! I could practice without worrying about wasting material or running out, and it helped me learn from my mistakes before jumping into the actual project.Video and Written Support – The videos that came with the kit were really helpful in addition to the written instructions. If I got confused with the booklet, I could watch the video and get a clearer idea of what to do. This was great for my learning style.Good Value for Money – This kit is affordable, and I felt like it was a good deal. It came with more than enough yarn for the project, and I got a lot of use out of it for the price.Cute and Fun Project – The door stop idea is adorable! Even though my work wasn't as polished as the photos on the box, I had fun, and the project was rewarding.Kid-Friendly – I can totally see how this kit would be fun for kids who enjoy crafts. It’s simple enough for them to follow along, and the extra yarn gives them room to practice without frustration.ConsOnly One Hook – The kit only comes with one crochet hook, which isn’t ideal if more than one person is learning at the same time. I had to buy extra hooks if I wanted to teach multiple people.Yarn Quality – The cotton yarn isn’t the best, and I noticed that it can cause fabric to bunch up, especially when I had to redo my work a few times. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it’s something to keep in mind if you plan to start over a lot.Scissors Are a Bit Hard to Use – The scissors included in the kit work, but they’re a bit tough to use. I had to apply a lot of pressure to get them to cut cleanly, which wasn’t the most convenient.Not Enough Yarn for All the Cones – The kit doesn’t include enough yarn to make all the ice cream cones shown on the box. If you want to complete the full set as pictured, you’ll need to buy additional yarn.Instructions Can Be Confusing – While the kit comes with a guide, I found that the visual instructions didn’t always match the video tutorials. It wasn’t a major issue, but it did cause a bit of confusion now and then.Quality Isn’t Top-Notch – The overall quality of the kit is decent, but it’s not the best I’ve seen. For a beginner kit, though, I think it’s perfectly fine. It’s a good starting point, but if you’re looking for something more advanced or high-end, this may not be it.
