If you have a cheaper guitar and are replacing your pots these really can't be beat for making a lower end guitar really shine. Added these to a single coil plus Seymour Duncan hot rail setup in a Squier Mustang and they really transformed the guitar.

Replaced a crackling 500k volume pot with one of these on a dual humbucker guitar. Smooth and great quality build. Took off some of the shrill highs that I really dislike and made the bridge pickup more usable. I am a fan of warmer tones.

I've purchased these twice. The first one came in perfect shape, and works very well for my purpose. The second one arrived with a leg broken off, so I was unable to use it

Smooth pot, no extra noise.Needed a bit more brightness on my Jazzmaster Baritone, 250k felt a tad too dark; complimented the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound I installed.

Installed 300k in place of a 250k in guitar with a darker single coil bridge, and added just a touch more shimmer on top to make tone detailed. Sometimes subtle shift in tonality is exactly what is needed and 300k pot did exactly what I was thinking it would. When I measured impedance, the 300k pot rated at 290k where as my CTS 250 k pot measured around 268k.. and that little added 22k impedance added just the shimmer of presence my darker pup needed to perfect the tonality. And while subtle, that subtlety is just what the tone doctor ordered, and it's the perfect prescription for those in betweens tha common range of 250k to 500k that work the magic.

Nice pot!! These are full size!! All you need for fitting these into an Indonesian Strat is a 3/8" drill bit to barely widen the pickguard hole ever so slightly. These work with Buckers too!!

Sold as 300k, actual value measured at 270k. It's technically within spec, but it doesn't seem worth it to pay a premium for a 300k pot when it is closer to 250k than 300. Just buy a handful of 250k pots and pick out the highest value of the batch. Otherwise, it performed as it should.
