cause of WTC!

DEWALT® fill short no storage compartment for the vacuum like Rigid vacuums have the accessories where you can put it around the vacuum and hang the hose. Simply this is like a puzzle trying to put things away that are ridiculously large and individually sold accessories seems to be way overpriced. Love the vacuum and its quality bill don't know what happened during manufacturing and designing this vacuum for storage compartments. It's the worst I've seen.

Seems to be working good.... My Dewalt Miter saw has a aftermarket dust collection on it, so I still need to find a end that will fit the end of the Dewalt Hepa hose and will also fit onto the miter saws dust collection hose, Any Ideas?

Great product, works well and is not too loud. Well built and should last.

Died on me today, after 5 months of use :( For that price tag I would expect it to last many years, not 5 months.

I was a little hesitant in spending this much for a dust extractor, but I’m very glad that I did. This is one heck of a machine and well worth the investment for Cleaner Air! It’s loud, but I always use ear protection when operating my power tools, so no big deal. It’s a very portable and mobile machine. Dust Extraction, Chip Removal and Clean up are all Superb. I did have to get some additional attachments for all the different output port sizes on my equipment. Highly Recommended!

This is a serious machine purpose built for those of you who are in the commercial contracting industry where dust control is both a necessity and a occupational safety issue. Perfect for drywall sanding, concrete cutting or any other mechanized process that creates alot of dust that you need to control. For those consumers out there that like to make "dust" that is sawdust with your own personal wordworking shop this is an ideal choice for that application (assuming you have the wallet for it). For the garden variety homeowner your best suited with a shop vac that is about a quarter of the price. I am a certified dewalt nut, so when I saw this come up in my cue I had to have it despite the fact that I do not do any of what I have just described. I do mainly small projects that don't warrant the pricey purpose built attachments that are adapted to either drills, saws or sanders. On the other hand there have been many jobs where this would have come in handy. The unit cycles repeatedly to clear the main filters so there is no end to vacuuming up small particulates without worrying about clogging the filter. I stopped vacuuming my fire place out at the end of the season for this very reason as my rigid shop vac filter would clog or throw dust into the room (I did this once and my wife beat me senseless (figuratively of course)). Out of the box this unit did not come with the one attachment that in my mind would make it more useful and that is an attachment that would adapt it to regular 2.25" ID vacuum attachments commonly used on Rigid and Craftsman shop vacuums. I found an adapter that I think will work on Amazon (DWV9140) this should fit into the end of the quick disconnect adapter on the end of the hose (I think this is the DWV9000). Dewalt should consider adding this to the inventory of adapters in the box. There are a slew of other adapters available and not much information out there on how to use them with this very capable machine. I've also included some photos that show the dimensions (which where not available on the product page) as well as the onboard outlet for tool control. Based on all of this I would recommend this to any professional out there or any of you serious hobbyists that need a serious machine for dust control.Update 11/8/2023: I received the DWV9140 adapter in the mail the other day and it does indeed adapt this unit to my inventory of rigid shop vac tools. This makes the dust collector a bit more versatile in my opinion. I would recommend purchasing this for those of you that are in the same situation as me or want to immediately add versatility to your dust collector. I found it on Amazon for about $12.
