Great turner, but the one I received had a redwood handle, not brown / walnut. The redwood didn't look or feel nice. Returned and exchanged for the Dexter 2388 (8"x3") which has a brown / walnut handle and matches the smaller Dexter S825 (4"x2.5") pancake turner, linked here:https://amzn.to/4go7PKA

This turner is awesome. A bit on the pricey side, but I wanted USA made and this thing feels like it will last forever so I am very pleased. Components and finish are top notch. The turner blade is comes fairly sharp too so it will do great if you're chopping up foods on a griddle while cooking.

I enjoy the sing when I hit it on the side of my cast iron pans. I most often cook with cast iron and this is the best in my opinion. I may order the short one and use it in my meat loaf pan. Some use a casserole dish for meat loaf.
