I haven’t used it yet but it looks and feels very well put together…. Just a heads up it doesn’t switch over from left to right it’s only for right handed reelers that’s the only thing bad I have to say about it I feel with my left so it looks like I’ll have to learn to reel with my right hand

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a fishing reel. After the first time I used it I had a hard time reeling it since it was very stiff. It wasn't like that when I first used it while fishing. I did lubricate the reel with WD40 and then it finally started working for a little while. Also, the reel handle broke off the second time I used it because the entire reel was stiff and could not reel in the line. The inner parts of the reel are plastic and made with a crappy alloy type of metal. Poor product. Do not buy. What a piece of junk. Stick to American Brand Names.

The reel is exactly what I ordered and is nice. However the shipping was questionable as it came in an Amazon bag and the box the reel came in was busted and the reel was just in the bag and not secured in the box. I expected the shipping to be better. At least the product looks undamaged.

Updated 9/23We have been using these reels several times a week on our boat and on the pier (all saltwater fishing) for over a year and four were still going strong until we got caught in a strong rain storm. Shortly after that the anti reverse stopped working. I took the reels apart and the roller bearing and race for the anti reverse were badly rusted. No matter how much I cleaned and lubricated I couldn't fix them. All the internal parts are metal and rust resistant EXCEPT the anti reverse bearing. We had to toss two. Don't let water get inside the top.Original reviewThis is a good, well built reel. It is heavier than some because it is metal. The spool seems like it holds less line than similar reels of this class. Next time I'll buy one size larger
