This is a nice product for fixing a cord. It is very well-made and durable. The design is nice, but I needed to look info up online to determine which of my wires went where on the plug. That was the only drawback.

These are heavy duty plugs. The rubberized housings seem well made and rugged. They were easy to wire up, and seem like they are durable enough to last for years to come. There's not much to say...they do what they're supposed to at a bargain price.

These are a very standard design in all respects. Similar to replacement plugs you can get elsewhere. Three screws assemble the two halves of the body, cable clamp is secure (assuming the correct size cable), and internal wire clamps are solid. If you have done these before should only take 5-10 minutes to install.I do have some concerns that the plastic used might be on the brittle side, time will tell. This is a medium duty Nema 5-15 plug and connector set that gives that heavy duty look and feel. The plug to connector fit is tight when connecting them to themselves, but works fine when using with existing connections. We are all use to seeing this type of connector in the bright yellow and these are very similar except in a more brown mustard color. Nothing really bad to say about this set. Works as advertised.

Aside from being a hideous brown mustard yellow color, these connectors aren't very remarkable.They are not waterproof, nor are they heavy duty in any sense of the word.They are however stamped approved by Underwriter's Laboratory and made from high impact plastic. So, as long as you don't drop heavy items on them, or run over these connectors you should get some very long and satisfactory service from them.We don't buy electrical connectors like these for their looks, and that's a good thing, 'cause these things are ugly! Electrons don't care about what things look like, so this is a winner electrically speaking.

This review is for "Electrical Replacement Plug & Connector Set, 15 Amp 125 Volt, Extension Cord Replacement Ends Male and Female,3 Prong Plug Replacement, NEMA 5-15P & 5-15R, UL Listed, Yellow Shell (1 Set)", by Aunovg. I did not see an item number, but it's ASIN B0DM9MSZR9. Title and ASIN are included in the review because sometimes reviews get re-sorted and are no longer associated with the correct product.The Aunovg Replacement Plug Connector Set shipped quickly and was packaged reasonably in a padded envelope. Within the padded shipping envelope, the plug set arrived retail packaged in a small cardboard box, and within this box the two connectors were individually packaged in recloseable clear plastic bags along with an instructions sheet. The written instructions are ridden with errors in spelling, capitalization, and character spacing, and some word choices are odd and perhaps even amusing, such as these two sentences which I copied verbatim: "colorful screw for fire wire.white screw(Corresponding W) for zero wire."Both connectors are molded in yellow plastic, though it's not the bright yellow as depicted in the Amazon listing. The color is more of a dark yellow, sort of like brown mustard. See the photo of the Aunovg connectors beside a competitor's yellow 6-20 plug set. I disassembled the receptacle connector and the three screws fell out. Typically, with this sort of connector the screws are threaded only at the tip such that the threaded portion of the screws will keep the screws from falling out of the nest. The nest is labeled "G" and "W" for two terminal screws as appropriate. But the "green" screw for the Ground is a brass screw which has just barely been dyed/painted green and this screw has a rounded head like the other two screws, not a hex head as I'd normally expect for this type of connector. The screw for the W/Neutral connection is silver in color as expected. The Amazon listing shows the slot for the Neutral receptacle to be the same length as the hot wire slot, but in fact the Neutral receptacle slot is wider (as it should be) so that it can accept a grounded plug. I do see UL Listed molded into the both connectors.I had no trouble wiring up the Aunovg plug and receptacle. The strain relief works as expected. Both plug and receptacle work well with each other and with other vendor's plugs and receptacles.Overall, I'm satisfied with the Aunovg connector kit as it's perfectly serviceable. However, I'm not certain that I would purchase this again. For the same $$ I can purchase a competitor's set molded in bright yellow (or orange) with screws which won't fall out and therefore cannot get lost.
