It opens and closes quickly but you have a decent amount of time to put things in the bin. It holds a LOT of stuff and the lid keeps odors - like my wife's nail polish remover saturated cotton - locked away. I like the lid; it's nice not seeing gross bathroom stuff like qtips at the top of the bin. Buying a second for the other bathroom, now.

Loved it, for the 3 days it worked. LED light went out, would no longer open or shut. Replaced the batteries with several new ones and it never came back on.

I like the bin, looks good and fits in nicely. BUT I'm not sure what the plastic ring inside is for, u put a bag on it and it drops to the bottom of the bin!! Badly designed. I now just place the bag in the bin and fold it over the rimBut nice little bin

We use this in our bathroom, to keep the toilet paper out of sight works great no issues. Lid auto opens and closes, battery life has been good.

This is lovely little bin, that goes beautifully in my bathroom. Although I wish it was a bit bigger, it actually holds a surprising amount. It is not difficult to use & the lid keeps any smell inside.

Love the bin!! No need to put lid up or down....it does it all by a swipe of your hand. Only need to use 2xAA batteries. Great for use in bathrooms or a lovely bench top container for food scraps. Too lovely to hide in a cupboard!

I bought this trashcan for my granddaughter's nursery. The gold accent is perfect to add a touch of sophistication. The motion detection on the trashcan works perfect. You can wave your hand, foot or knee to open the can, throw away the diaper and it closes on its own too. I usually put a small bag in the trashcan and put the diaper in a dog poop bag to eliminate the possibility of any smell. She has been using it for 2 months with no issues and no smell. I would definitely buy it again.

I bought this to use in my bathroom both for cleanliness and to make sure my dogs couldn't access the trash. It's small as expected but that hasn't been a big deal. The opening it smaller than I'd like, but after looking at all if my options it seems that is standard with small automatic trash cans. My biggest issue is the sensor isn't very fast and requires getting too close to it for it to open. If I'm at the sink I have to bend down and hold my hand right over it for a couple seconds before it opens. And if you're still using it, it tries to close anyway rather than sensing a hand is still there. It's good enough to keep, but if I had to buy one again I might look at other options.

Chose this 3.5 gallon can for the bedroom after finding my blood pressure medicine in the trash : ) I keep this can near the nightstand for easy reach, and no longer worry about something important falling in. Opens and closes with ease, holds plenty for bedroom use. Can go two weeks before changing bag. Has wide ribbed sides and a smooth lid, all plastic, so it's easy to clean. Oval design is sleek, yet has a wide opening, so I never miss a shot. Have an adjustable bed, and I'm fairly short, and find the sensor to be powerful. Put my hand directly over the sensor, 5-6 inches away and it opens like a charm everytime. Batteries last quite a while. ELPHECO offers replacement drawstring bags at a reasonable price. A trial pack comes with the can; they work well for me. The trash can is a bit pricey, but I'm hoping the motor is built to last. Happy with purchase.

Esta muy bonito, funciona bien, solo chequen bien el tamaño porque está pequeño, yo pensé que era mediano. Y los materiales se ven un poco frágiles, sin embargo para lo que sirve es buena opción y tiene buena presentación
