Took this on a backpacking trip through the smokies and across the Appalachian trail in May of 2023. Me and my Fiancée did the entire 58 mile trip in hammocks and shared this DryFly with us side by side (our hammocks were touching but we could've spaced a bit more). The very last night of the 5 days on trail it rained and I have no complaints. With only one hammock it leaves a nice amount of room to sit under and you could angle it to help wind as well.Eno was also the brand of our hammocks, so it's safe to say we like it. Hope this helps!

This is a great tarp. I tested it at the family farm with my ENO JungleNest, Ember underquilt, and Spark topquilt. Easy to set up and the two extra tie-downs only take a minute or so extra, especially since I've got s-biners attached to all of the tie-down points on my MSR Groundhog mini stakes. I spent 14 hours in the pouring rain, and was bone dry the entire time. As some others have noted, there is the possibility of getting wet if the wind is high and the rain is coming down sideways, but if that happens, I recommend simply lowering the tarp height. Having those extra tie-down points is worth it in said wind, though, as the tarp doesn't flap or threaten to tear the stakes out.As a side note, please remember that this tarp is meant to be light and portable (back- or bikepacking), which is why it's only long/wide enough to cover the hammock. If you need something longer/wider, I'd look at the XL tarp sizes or something from another manufacturer. The tarp shipped and arrived very quickly, no issues.

The first night I used it, it rained. Hard. I stayed completely dry. The tarp didn't budge an inch, and shielded me from the wind as well. The second night, it snowed. I also stayed dry and comfortable. All in all, the tarp performs as I would expect it to. If I had only one complaint it would be that it's not as quick to set up as an ENO hammock😝. You would definitely want to get it set up before the rain arrived, but the tarp dries quick and the water beads off very nicely.

I would like to start off by saying I love Eagle Nest Outfitters and their products. That being said the DryFly is no different, it's a great product that keeps me and others dry and during the unbearably hot summers of Northwest FL it provides us with a little shade. I've used the DryFly a bunch of times and gotten pretty quick at sitting it up and tearing it down. I will say that this wasn't the case at first, there's multiple points of attachment and when I first used it took a little longer to set up then I expected, but now I've got it down to less then 5 minutes. It should be noted that the product doesn't come with stakes, but I probably wouldn't use them if they did. As long as you have some trees or even undergrowth you will be fine with trying a quick release clove hitch, or some type of clinch knot. Tearing the tarp down take a bit more time ( still under ten) because I ensure that all the cord is coiled properly, also the stuff sack that the tarp comes in is just big enough for the tarp. That's the other reason I don't use tent stakes, you would need to store the stakes in another sack or something similar. The tarp has a tightening system at each point of attachment, but I haven't and probably won't use them. The way they are designed you have to untie a knot, tighten the cord down then re tie it, again this would take a fair amount of time. Overall this is a good product that will keep you dry, there are other tarps out there that might be a little faster to set up but there design and shape isn't as good. I would be surprised to find someone who isn't impressed with the product and the guys at ENO are awesome, I've had friends who have had defects in ENO products and the customer service was awesome.

This rainfly rocks my hammock. I use a Hennessy Hammock and the standard Asym tarp is just not enough coverage for my liking. This thing will cover the hammock entirely! Both protection from rain and wind, which is great all year but especially if you are winter hammock camper. Love the guyline locks, making it really easy to tighten the hammock down without getting your hands muddy or wet trying to adjust knots tied to stakes.I did add a ridgeline on the underside because in things like heavy rain and snow I enjoy having that added support. It is fairly easy. I used 7 strand paracord and tied it between the 2 loops on each side, then looped it back on itself and tied a taught-line hitch in case it stretched under pressure or rain I could just reach up and tighten it a bit.The other really neat thing about this tarp is that on the center stake out points, the tarp bunches up slightly to form a sort of cup that center where the rain drips off, and here you could place a cup or pot to collect rain water all night making breakfast or coffee prep in the morning really nice!My only dislike is the tarp did not come with an integrated stuff sack. Which is really ok for me since I use the Hennessy Hammock Snakeskins for it anyhow. But that is misleading in the included information.
