These are easy to use and provide great traction. we used them on the lake when ice fishing and were great help when pulling our sleds.

I live in Alaska and we’ve been having an unusually icy winter, in the past few weeks I’ve tried several different ice cleats and these are the best by far. We’ve had several weeks of off and on freezing rain and these make walking outside way safer.

I ordered size x-large to fit over a size 13 men's boot. With other brands that I had purchased in the past, they always seemed too small and it took all the strength I had to be able to stretch them over the edges of the boot and then they always fell off or the bottom studs didn't end up where they were supposed to be.When first taking these cleats out of the package, my first impression was that they are huge compared to others I own. They are somewhat easier to place on the boots with the helpful toe and heel pull tabs. It makes it easier to stretch them over the ends of the shoe. The little studs on the bottom work very well on ice and are grippy. So far, I feel confident when using these cleats on the ice and I haven't slipped while wearing them yet.

The Ergodyne TREX 6306 Ice Traction Cleats are a solid choice for winter weather. I found the step-in design to be surprisingly easy to use, and they stayed securely in place while walking on icy sidewalks and paths. The carbide studs provided excellent grip on the ice, and the rubber lugs offered decent traction on slushy surfaces. I especially appreciated the reflective accents, which made me feel safer walking in low-light conditions. While they might not be the most comfortable to wear for extended periods, they certainly improved my confidence and safety during icy conditions.

This review is for: Ergodyne TREX 6306 Ice Traction CleatsThese are definitely a step above other ice cleats being made out there. This seems to be a great brand. It seems a little silly that they tell you what size shoes these fit. I have gym shoes and boots in the same size and the boots are around 2 in longer than the gym shoes. It seems like the size chart should be based on inches, not shoe size. These really do a great job of giving attraction in snow and ice. I wore them the entirety of the winter and didn't fall once. I usually fall at least once every winter which is getting more and more unsafe as I get older.

This review is for the Ergodyne TREX 6306 Ice Traction Cleats (Large). We’ve used several styles and brands of winter cleats. These Ergodynes are lightweight yet have enough material that they won’t snap when stretched tightly one too many times. They are a rubber material that has a good grip and stretch. The studs are tungsten carbide so I’m hoping that they hold up better for running; my spouse has broken and worn down other metal cleats from hitting rocks or patches of pavement when running in the winter. We also generally prefer the studs over coils for better traction and durability. These weren’t unusually difficult to get on or off.The large cleats fit my womens size 11 thin tennis shoes with some extra length in the back; this extra length was not an issue in walking. They fit on womens size 11 4E snow boots with no extra length though I think that they could be stretched and adjusted to fit a longer boot especially if it wasn’t extra bulky and wide. My rough measurements show that these will easily fit a 12 inch long shoe.Overall the construction of these is substantial but not heavy. The price point of these is a little higher than we generally spend but they feel worth it. Assuming these hold up well they are a good snow cleat.

Autumn has arrived and winter will soon follow. Our house is situated on a hill and when snow falls, the driveway can become quite slippery. We walk our dog down the hill at least 4 times a day, and having shoes with good traction is a must during and after a snowfall. My wife is especially prone to slipping, because her boots do not have a deep tread. I thought these cleats would help her out in slippery conditions. We have purchased cleats before and they work for a while, but eventually, the rubber stretches out and breaks. These cleats seem a little more durable than the ones we have previously bought. The black rubber is thicker and offers a lot more coverage than what we are used to. If the snow is especially high, the cleats can slip off. We do not think this will be the case with these ERGODYNE Cleats. A noticeable feature are the 4 pull tabs (1 in front, 3 in back) to assist in putting the cleats on. These simple pulls will allow you to place the cleats on easily and quickly. It is necessary that the cleats fit your boots snuggly in order for them to stay on. These fit as expected. There are two reflector pieces (one on the front, the other on the back) to help in keeping you visible if you are outside at night. On the underside your will find the tungsten carbide cleats. Tungsten carbide is one of the toughest materials in the world. Second only to diamonds. It is known for its resistance to wear, durability and strength. Using this material for cleats should do the trick. A word of caution, tungsten carbide can scratch decorative concrete, so be sure to be aware of where you are walking. There are 14 Tungsten carbide studs (9 under the ball of the foot and 5 under the heel area). We believe this will offer you a superior grip on slippery surfaces.Though my wife has not been able to test the cleats out yet. We feel she is prepared for the winter season with these heavy-duty cleats. When wearing them, she will walk with confidence and not have to worry about slipping down the driveway and perhaps, injury.
