I gave the item a low review because I want to draw attention to it. The XPlor 300 is itself a fine light. No problems with it and I am inclined to buy another however, the battery issue keeps me from doing so. The bateries are absolute garbage (I have two lights). I repeatedly fully charge the batteries and put the gear away only to come back a WEEK LATER and find the battery discharged to 1/4 capacity without being used after a full charge. At first i thought it was a fluke but the issue is ongoing. It's frustrating and no clear recourse. I've been looking for 3rd party batteries but no luck. This issue makes me want to look towards Profoto. Thank you.

I absolutely love using the AD300pros as a dual kit with the Glow EZ soft box diffusers. Having transitioned from dual godox tt685s to this strobe set up is a game changer for me with my macro and studio photography.
