The umbrella holder detached from the base after a few months use. The umbrella still can go into it, but it wobbles around and is not secure or sturdy.

I spent quite some time clicking through Amazon, reading reviews, and comparing prices for an umbrella base for a patio umbrella I had recently purchased. This item was just what I was looking for! Good size for the 4-seater patio table it would be sitting under, sleek, black, and most importantly- affordable. It has worked wonderfully all summer with absolutely no signs of ware and tear- We plan to store it in the shed over the winter and I anticipate this to last several years. Definitely recommend!

Easy to put in umbrella base. Looks pretty and keeps it anchored. On super windy days I put bricks on top but on a normal day it isn’t needed. Works great for the price. Very happy.

This is a very nice looking base at a very reasonable price. It is pretty heavy, so I don't find it easy to move. But then, I don't really want it to be so light the umbrella wobbles. I would definitely buy again if I ever needed a 2nd base. I do use it with umbrella inserted thru hole in a patio table, not just a freestanding umbrella.

More lightweight than I expected. Doesn’t hold my umbrella, which is normal size.

Works well, heavy enough to hold the parasol but not so heavy that I can't change the position on the patio.

I found this to be pretty good once I had help setting it up. The actual base isn't the issue but my furniture meant it was a bit of pain to get into place.I have cube furniture which has a braced frame at the bottom. When you put this together the holder for your parasol sticks up. I had to have help lifting the table overt his and then lining it up with the hole. It also just about fit under these braces. If I was you I'd check the clearance. You can always lift the four corners of your table if it doesn't quite squeeze. It's nice and heavy and once your parosal is dropped you can lock the tube within the base. All in all I'm very happy and this week I'll be doing the garden ready for summer. Hopefully we'll get one.

This is an attractive and weighty parasol base. It has the appearance of burnished metal and looks smart yet unobtrusive under the table, so would suit a range of different patio furniture sets.
It’s supplied in pieces and requires assembly on arrival. For something relatively simple the instructions are a bit complicated but you get there in the end. There’s a cup which sits inside so allows a range of parasol pole thicknesses to be supported.Best of all it’s nice and heavy so great for parasols on a breezy day, but not so heavy that it’s impossible to shift afterwards and put away. Very good base, would recommend.

I purchased 4 of these umbrella stands to hold 4 1/2 ' artificial Christmas trees in the pots on my front porch. Most umbrella stands have 18" diameter bases, which are larger than the pot diameter. The base on these stands is about 16", which fits well into my concrete pots. I placed some bricks on top for added weight and the trees remained standing in heavy winds. I use some PVC pipe to reduce the umbrella stand diameter to the side for the tree pole. The trees will be easy to remove by simply releasing the locking screw and lifting the tree out of the stand, even if the base of the umbrella stand is frozen into the pots.

Got a parasol or umbrella? Need a base? This is the FRUITEAM 22lbs Round Patio Umbrella Base, Measures 15" Diameter, In Black. This parasol base is superb, it will fit all umbrella or parasols, but you will needs some wedges for smaller thinner umbrellas. You get 3 fixings for all sizings, and there is a tightening screw which could be longer if I am honest. There is some simple assembly required, but all parts / tools provided. It is a heavy unit though, so I warn thee! But once it is in place it is going nowhere, it is very robust and sturdy.Overall I'd recommend this base unit, just a pity the tightening screw ain't longer for thinner poles.
