These were fantastic. I had a beautiful umbrella that had a rotted base. Base was in great shape except for umbrella pole holder. Easy to install. Saved $50 not having to buy a new base. Worked better than expected

I didn't realize that the metal pole part on an umbrella stand could be replaced, but I am so glad that this is an option!I have a nice umbrella stand that I bought a few years ago, and last month when I went to put the umbrella back into it after a hurricane (I live in Florida), the metal part of the stand literally fell apart. I was bummed about this because the heavy bottom part is so strong and pretty. Before I tossed it, I took a look and was thrilled to see this option to replace just the metal pole, and it said it was a universal fit, so I decided to try it.Happily, it works perfectly and it was so quick and easy to replace. The pole is of good-quality and sturdy. And best of all, I am able to continue to use my pretty base for a few more years. Recommended.

This stand worked perfectly for my purposes, however the included screws did not. I had to go find my own screws in order to assemble it with my umbrella. For me, this is just fine and didn't bother me in the slightest (it's just another day in the life - "universal" only goes so far on projects), but I took a star off just because I'm certain there are others that would fault the stand for it. It works just as I need it to though and is robust enough for my purposes!

Used this umbrella stand replacement tube in one of the stands we use for our bistro lights and am so happy with it! The insert design, which extends several inches into the tube versus the usual 1.5-2”, really makes a difference with how straight the 12’ poles stand. We are so happy that we have ordered two more to keep on hand when we need to replace the others. The new one is the one on the left; wish we had a before and after shot!

This tube holder is robustly constructed and well finished. The plastic insert with two set screws holds the umbrella tube securely. Stainless steel construction was indicated in the listing but I tested the holder and hardware with a magnet and they were all highly magnetic. While some stainless steels are magnetic the 304 (aka 18-8) stainless steel which is the common construction material for fittings like this is not magnetic. I doubt this holder is made of stainless but it is well finished and looks like it should prove durable. A bigger problem is that no weep holes are provided at the base of the holder so water is likely to pool inside the tube fostering corrosion (the reason I removed one star from the rating). The two set screws provided are rather small diameter (see picture relative to a dime) but they aren't carrying heavy loads so they are adequate. As noted they are magnetic, hence likely mild steel which can be expected to corrode outdoors. The 1.5 inch plastic insert fit the umbrella tube well and holds it securely in conjunction with the two set screws. My previous holder had just one plastic ring adapter at the top and one set screw which was adequate, but I prefer this design. The tube holder is installed by simply passing one of the two mounting screws (differing lengths) through the base with the provided washer (pictured) and tightening with the included hex wrench. Quick, strong and easy.If I'm ever short of things to do I'll dismount this holder and drill weep holes in the bottom. Otherwise I'm happy with the product as received.

Great. Has a much longer tube for supporting the umbrella pole. 4” longer than the tube I had. Two set screws instead of one like I had. Two screw lengths are provided but I needed a length in between. One was too short and one was too line. Fortunately I had a metric screw that worked.
