I decided to take a chance and buy this idler pulley on Amazon versus at the Toyota dealer. Part was an exact match, spins without effort. I will say the idler pulley I took off was fine also and spun very easy with no noticeable roughness or noise. It was OEM, 8 years old with 103k miles on it.

Replaced on a 2007 Tundra 5.7 at 125,000 miles as the original idler pulley had bearing wear on inspection during serpentine belt change. Same dimensions as original part. Gates part is stamped Made in Canada and of course functions quietly compared to the worn bearing Idler Pulley. Installation for this part would be to lock the Belt Tensioner after removing the skid plate and after moving the belt to the side from the top, remove old idler pulley with a short 14mm socket, and putting in the New Idler Pulley to torque specs. Unlock the Belt Tensioner, ensure belt alignment, and replace the skid plate. If I knew about this part I would have purchased one much earlier.
