After Hurricane Milton I was dedicated to finding a way to run my whole home off a generator. I own a rather unique Siemens parallel source main panel due to having a large solar array. The interlock kit sold by Siemens for this panel runs well over $150 online and is not easy to find. Based on the specs and design of this kit, it seemed like it would work. Once received, I was able to hold the interlock bar in place and confirm it would work. The kit includes a drill bit and necessary stickers for labeling the breaker and it's usage. I'm currently waiting on some permits and the associated electrical work for the generator inlet before I can install this unit but by all checks this should work out perfectly for my Siemens panel and did so at 1/5th the cost of the Siemen interlock kit.
