Took my front drum head off my kit about 10 years ago and lost the hooks and tension rods between moving three times... go figure. Finally decided to go with a ported front head and had to purchase these to get the job done. Best price I could find for a niche item of the right length.

Added these to the beater side of my 22”x14” Tama Superstar- Super Mahogany kick/ vintage 1983. 2 closest to the foot pedal were in the way. Went right in and tightened right up in 90 seconds. Purchase with easy of mind vintage Tama dudes! Couldn’t get a straight answer ANYWHERE on the inter webs.

Worked perfect on 40 year old Pearl bass drum. Used in conjunction with Gibraltar bass drum claw. Looks almost like OEM hardware.

Excellent hardware.Perfectly machined with no burrs.Nice alloy, shiny.Shafts perfectly machined and no bend ... straight as an arrow.Perfect length for Rogers 22 inch bass drum.I used Gibraltar claws, but washers are fine.Gibraltar rocks ... again.

Even, smooth threads, uniform head thickness for a nice tight fit in the key and straight as an arrow. A good value for beginner kits for sure... I'll bet there are better products out there if you own a 3000 dollar vintage kit, but for the rest of us, this is fine.

Fits perfectly on my Pearl kick drum. This is a 12-24 x 4 1/4 inch bolt. 7/32 inch is the size of a clearance hole for the threads. It has the standard 7/32 inch square drive bolt head on it. The washer is captive and 0.060 inch thick. Excellent finish. This IS NOT a M6 x 1 106mm bolt though it's close enough to look like it will work. The difference in thread count is 24 per inch versus 25 per inch which is close enough to thread in 2 full turns. You'll be sorry if you force it from there.
