Tremendous amount of light output and good color accuracy. Recycles quickly. I don't really use the modeling at all, but it is nice to have. Excellent UI for quickly changing settings, and it works with your typical Bowens mount. As for cons, this thing runs on mains power only. If you are working in a studio that's not a problem. I'd love to see this on a battery, even if it means having a huge battery to take with me.

Godox DP1000III-V Upgraded Studio Flash Light 1000Ws Power GN140 5600±200K Strobe Lighting Built-in 2.4G Wireless X System Bowens Mount Photography Flashes for Wedding Fashion Advertising Photographyi am not a photographer so i cant say that i fully understand all the ins and outs here. this is just a head, there is no tripod or mounting accessories. this does not come with a reflector or softbox. it has a special sort of closed cone to protect what appears to be a circular halogen flash bulb, think old work lights. same idea but round. it comes with a series of colored reflector booties. no reflector but the booties. i dont fully understand why there is no reflector. it comes with these fabric booties to fit on a reflector but no reflector? hmm. thats weird. it comes with a long cord, there is no brick or power block, just a cord the transforming must take place in the head. which is pretty great. there is no option for battery power. i have a nikon z7ii. as i understand it, it can be controlled manually from nikon but not ttl. there is a sync cord port and a wireless control port. so i suspect you need extra accessories for everything to work together. i do not have these other things so i was unable to test with my camera. but you can fire it manually from the unit itself and boy is it bright. makes an audible click like the old flash cameras from the 70s or 80s. very bright. it does appear to be a 5600k light i am not sure what the +/- 200 means. maybe 5400-5800? this is a little colder than i prefer, but i am sure it will be fine for the tasks i have in mind. i think this is a very impressive and powerful light, but requires stuff to make it work properly. in my opinion that stuff should be in the box. no carry bag, no reflector, no connector adaptor or wiring. just cord and reflector booties. and a box with styrofoam.
