It was perfect for the project we needed it for. We were having issues with cats digging and pooping along our driveway. We purchased the wire to place on top of the dirt along the driveway. Perfect thickness and size. Problem solved!! The price was a bonus.

this is NOT 19 gauge. I have some 19 gauge from Tractor Suppy and this is less than half the thickness. It's cheap and very thin. So many areas are not even welded at all. I will send this junk back.

I received the order it was well packaged and arrived in good shape, but the galvanized coating if any seemed non-existent it looks like it’s just the steel fabric. It states it’s 19 gauge galvanized ? . When compared to the prior ones I have bought from other sellers that were 19 gauge and had heavy coating of galvanized. This is a little flimsy it does not feel like 19 gauge.I will keep this and use it to finish the 12 feet that I need for the project, but I would not buy it from the seller again

This is a small roll of very fine hardware cloth/metal mesh that I used to cover the crawlspace and attic vents of my house after a squirrel invasion. It worked beautifully. I used what was left over to wrap around the trunks of the young trees in my yard that the deer always seem to scratch up - and it worked there, too! Highly recommend wearing tough leather gloves because the roll definitely has a rough edge that can cut skin and snag fabric.

We will use this hardware cloth to keep the oak leaves out of the gutters on our trailer. We have built a frame to fit over the gutters and have fastened the hardware cloth in a double layer on that frame. It won't be a forever fix since we are using te trailer to live in while we are building our cabin. This item is a very sturdy and good quality hardware cloth and this is only one thing we will use it for. We recommend this product.

All in all this 16 inch chicken wire is exactly what I needed to keep the animals out of my yard. The size of the squares are 1/4 inch. The reason I chose this chicken wire was exactly a result of that smaller dimension. That will ensure that even mice can't get through (although they could probably still climb up it anyway). The scissors that were included are very basic. The handle is made up of rubber tubing placed over the metal handles. It can cut the chicken wire without hurting your hand, but I will still use the larger and stronger ones I already have so I'm not concerned with the quality of the included scissors.

I'm very happy with the chicken wire fencing, and it's exactly what I needed to put along the bottom of my wooden fence around my property. I'm also happy that a pair of scissors were included so I don't wear out my own scissors while cutting the wire mesh. The mesh is sturdy but flexible, and it's easy to staple onto wood. I used this to keep out raccoons from my yard where they set up a latrine.
