Bought this to wrap around my metal chicken run instead of the chicken wire it came with. We have stray dogs that ate some of my flock so this has been great to provide my girls with the security they need while allowing them to have room to roam around. It is thick wire and is sturdy! Our run is 10x20 and we only wrapped the lower half, the height of the wire was perfect. And we still have a ton left over for various projects that would call for this wire.

the coating makes it much easier to work with. I do wish it was 16 gauge verses 19.

We bought this to surround newly planted sycamore trees along the lake shore in the woods - a deer sanctuary. The fencing is thick metal, well covered with the coating. It is easy to cut and work with in the field. From the lake (maybe 30'-50'), the fencing is not noticeable, unless you look really hard.We received the planted trees along with plastic animal tree protection guards to go around the tree. Unfortunately that assumes maybe 5"-8" of space round the tree for the height of the guards. In our case, the trees came with branches all the way up, so need more space around the trunk. In addition, the guards don't seem to allow the sun to get in well and allow new branches to grow. Using this fencing worked well for the tree, leaves and for watering.

This turned out to be such a great purchase. We’ve had it on our chicken tractor for several months now, and it’s held up beautifully. The coated wire has so much smoother of a feel and was soooo much easier to work with than the uncoated hardware mesh we made our last coop with. It was also a much better value than from our local home improvement store. It was heavy, but in perfect condition after shipping.
