Bought these to replace on a chicken waterer that my chickens went full-savage on. The thing wasn’t cheap, so the thought of not being able to fix it bothered me…until I found these on Amazon. Best investment. With plenty of spares for future repairs.

These Harris Farm cups are great. I have made several custom PVC watering set ups for my chickens. I have found that if you follow the directions as stated and are careful to thread the cups in at a 90° angle to the PVC, they usually tighten up just fine. Sometimes a lightly sealed ring will seal up after a few days. Sometimes they will need another turn to get them to seal which can be stressful because you have to turn them a whole turn for the water cup to be oriented properly, but I haven’t broken one yet doing this. I may have once had to resort to using thread seal tape to give them to seal. Usually, you can get them to seal with just the washer provided.

These have been great to make a large 50 gallon barrel chicken waterer instead of constantly filling the small waterers. Took only a few minutes to drill holes and screw in. Make sure you use pipe tape to avoid leaks. It did take a few days for our chickens to learn to use it so we left the other waterer with minimal water for about a week. Otherwise this was super easy.

I have had two of four these break while installing, and one had a loose spring causing it to leak. Otherwise they work fine

After 1 day it quit working. The little yellow thing in the middle was stuck down and would not fill back up.

These are easy to instal and they work. Nothing super but nothing bad to say either. Like any plastic that is left in the sun they will fade with time but really hasn’t effected the operation. Chickens are still hydrated and yeah that’s about all I can say.
