Although the nib is EF, it is not as thin as I expected.The pen is made with great and high quality materials and feels good.

The pen writes very smoothly. The nib is marked F for fine, but I would put it at medium-fine. If you write with very light pressure, the line will be finer. It appears to be a polymer/resin in body with a metal overlay. Very ornate and nicely done. It is larger in diameter and longer than had expected, but the balance works for my medium-large hands, either with the cap posted or not. Very pleased

I received an email from the seller about this pen. I ordered this pen and received it very quickly. I ordered the extra fine nib because I am a journaler. The pen has a good amount of weight to it and lets you know it's there when you write. It's a beautiful pen. Time will tell how all the decoration wears. The nib is absolutely spectacular and writes very smoothly even for an extra fine nib. The quality of the decoration is gorgeous and not shabby in the least. The pen does post, but with the weight of the cap on the back it's a bit difficult to balance. It really doesn't need to be posted as the weight of the pen is balanced without it and feels great in the hand. This is not just a showpiece but also a good daily writer. For the price, it deserves to be in everyone's collection.

As well as being beautifully designed and decorated this pen is a pleasure to write with. Very solidly made and when used with the cap off is very well balanced. With the cap on however it is way off balance and uncomfortable.

I loved the look of this pen and had it in my list for a while, then finally decided to purchase it a few months ago. It's been in my heavy rotation of fountain pens, and paired with a wet, silky black ink, it leaves a nice wet line and is very smooth. It's on the larger and heavier side, so for those that prefer a lighter or smaller pen this may not work. The cap posts well, though I generally prefer to use it without posting. Overall a great purchase, and I'm thinking of getting another one in a different color :)

I love fountain pens, and have some that are antiques, collectibles, and some that are new. This Hongdian D5X Fountain Pen is beautiful. Everyone is impressed with the design, weight, and function of the pen. It has an extra fine nib that usually doesn't have a problem writing immediately, but occasionally needs a little encouragement.The cap will post, but it is heavy and does tend to throw everything off balance. Fun to write with, beautiful to look at. What more do you need?

My Aurora Epsilon broke - second pen and when I through I could replace the nib part, I simply could not find it. That's when I found this Hongdian D5X Fountain Pen. I was skeptical that such an affordable pen could be as good as the reviews, but the price was right so I tried it. I will affirm the 5 star reviews! I am a fine writer and this nib is responsive and does not blot on the page. I prefer a better paper than a Moleskin notebook, but this pen works very nicely on Moleskin notebook paper, which my other pens do not. As noted, the decorations are really nice. You would think the decorations would be cheap-looking, but really they are very nicely detailed which is pretty amazing at this price! I have a few expensive pens but I do not like using those daily. I will say this one is very just-right and would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you to the vendor! Fast delivery and well packaged!

Very disappointing ordered this pen as the reviews from other country’s were good ordered the extra fine nib the pen that arrived was at best a medium nowhere near to being an extra fineThis will be getting returned

Erstens gut verpackt. Nach dem Auspacken. Die Füllfeder ist sehr gut verarbeitet, liegt schön schwer in der Hand und schreibt tatsächlich ganz fein. Auch die Verpackung ist hübsch. Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall über diese wunderschöne Schreibfeder.

Marque découverte récemment qui propose de beaux stylos design avec un bon confort d'écriture pour un prix raisonnable.Ce modèle présente de nombreux détails gravés aux finitions propres. Il tient bien dans la main.
