Driving down the road, have you ever noticed that your hood is slightly bouncing up and down with the vibrations in the road? That is called hood flutter and DV8 Offroad has developed an innovative new hood hold down that is race inspired to eliminate this hood flutter and make you feel safe and secure while operating your Jeep. Constructed with a modular ABS plastic base with rubber gaskets, combined with a billet aluminum center barrel, and stainless steel heim joints on each end, the DV8 Offroad Jeep Wrangler Hood Hold Kits will replace those dull Jeep hood holds and secure your hood with confidence. Our materials were selected to reduce the vibration, and eliminate any stretchable parts that allow hood flutter. Both the Billet Aluminum and Stainless Steel components will not stretch out. The quick release push pin makes access simple and easy, and the attached stainless steel lanyard will ensure you don't misplace the pin while the hood is open.

They look great so we will start with that. They also are considerably stronger than the cheapo originals.It doesn't list as a fit for the Gladiators but they use the same configuration as the JK's and the Amazon fit guide shows it fitting. the only reason it's not 5 stars is because you do have to drill the holes out bigger on the fender for the registration marks to fit correctly.So long as you are comfortable doing that, I would highly recommend these.

Terrible product, came with sub par hardware, customer service was terrible. Way better hood clamps out there. Not worth the money.

Easy to instal 6 Allen head bolts and some. Looks much better than factory and hood flutter has stopped.

After trying different hood latches I was told from a friend to try these. And so far liking them. No vibration or movement from the hood when going down the freeway.
