So I have some positive and negative thoughts about these. I bought these about a year ago and just got around to installing them. First of all, the packaging is GREAT!! I was very impressed with the looks right off the bat. Installation was, interesting. It was a bit difficult getting to the nuts on the back side but doable with patience. I have had them on for about a month and I have noticed my hood doesn't close all the way. The pins start backing out and I am seeing a bigger gap each day. Not happy about that part. I have to go in and tighten the bolts at least once a week to try to keep the hood down. Packaging, appearance, durability of product, are all great! Long-term usage is scaring me though. I feel like I will eventually need to switch back to the original factory latches.

I installed these on my jeep and I quickly found out that they made My hood very noisy. No amount of adjustment corrected it. What I found is they do not come with the life that goes between the hood and the fender. Under the latch like the stock ones have. Tbh is is the part that keeps it nice and snug but keeps metal on metal contact. Because if this issue I removed them and reinstalled the stock ones. I didn’t want to cut off the piece I needed off the stick ones without being able to permanently attach it where it’s supposed to be. Other wise they are well made and look great but they need to make this pice part of the new latch.

I love the quality of this metal piece. The appearance is sleek and great value for the quality. Easy to install and use. Keeps paint nice. Performance is top notch. Fits my jeep perfectly

These are made out of aluminum and seem to be heavy duty. They have that look too. The pin adds an extra layer of security if you are off roading. The latches fit our 2020 JLUD. Sheam seems to be a good brand. We have their pedal covers as well. I think they are over priced for $70 but they are quality. I would say you get what you pay for but there are more cost effective options. For that I removed a star.

Little hesitant with a pin style latch .that said theses things are great on my 2024 Gladiator. Somewhat easy to install. Comes with tools as well only issue well not really was adjusting for a tight fit. For me I stall the bottom bracket to its lowest point. The angled Allen wrench are are perfect for it. Hood closed very tightly to attach pin. Drove for probably 50 plus miles , solid no shake ro rattle.

These are awesome!!! Installation was a touch difficult, no fault of the manufacturer. The position of the nuts on the back side is just difficult to get to. The instructions were very clear, and the final Loomis stunning! I'm really very happy with these

I had a JK and now and JL, and both times I hated those dang hood latches. This time it was one of the first things I replaced. There are no latches that have this look, very unique and just kinda went with my whole theme.

My original jeep ones were simply fading. These seemed respectable and a. It aggressive looking, easy install. Will require a bit of adjustment
