I wanted a place to hold my echo so that it’s not just laying around on the counter. Also needed the horizontal type due to the style the outlet had. This did make it look cleaner and out of the way. The only dislike is that the echo has a big plug and cover around the plugs limits you from rotating the echo plug so if your using a big plug you can only use one.
