I have anEspin sport. My Zoom rear brake has failed four times completely. I have to add mineral oil each time I ride it.These replacements were great. No more problems

Easy to install fit right into my Schwinn Axum even though my front disks were 180mm. Superior stopping power over mechanical. Worhy the price, will let you know how they look 6 months down the line.

A little squishy but work. Put them on my wife’s gravel bike. Works fine since she isn’t going down crazy descents or any technical riding.

These brakes fit well and work well. The red anodizing is holding up well after 3 months of riding.

EDIT: Updating my review to one star. The brakes have a design flaw. Those circles on the side are actually a large screw in plug. Apply enough pressure to the brake, and they unscrew themselves, releasing all the oil. I was going down hill when suddenly the lever went limp and I lost all brake power. Thankfully I was able to find a offshoot that went uphill in order to halt myself. Now the plug requires some special 2 prong wrench I don't have, so I made a makeshift one to tighten the plug back in, and refilled it with oil and bled it. Unfortunately, brake fluid got on the pads and rotors and embedded itself. Nothing, not even hand scrubbing in the sink, could get it to stop squealing. Worse, it no longer had any stopping power, forcing me to use much more force on the levers...Which caused the plug to unscrew itself again. And I'm done, into the trash these go.

Mountain bike: Schwinn AxumDPSo first, I ordered hydros and I got hydros (hydrolic). Yes they are real (picture of bled oil to demonstrate). The lines are clearly wrapped in metal which has a few purposes. First, it provides protection to the hydrolic hoses. Second, it prevents the expansion of said tubing over time causing a loss of pressure and poor braking. Win! That's why motorcyclists like braided brake lines. The brakes were relatively clean out of the box and packaged adequately. There was just a bit of mineral oil on the outside of the front caliper, no big deal. They looked good but I didn't want to test them until I installed them. The installation was easy and while it was nice to have the extra spacer bracket included, ultimately it wasn't needed. On a side note, my bike has 180mm front disk, not a 160mm like these are spec'd for but the spacer allows the hydro caliper to install without issue. Upon initial testing the rear brake worked amazing, such a great difference over my mechanical disk brakes. The front however was incredibly loose. Upon inspection, testing, and ultimately a little draining either there was a bubble at the top or it was too full. After removing a tiny bit the front was responsive and great. -1 star for me having to do maintenance from the start. All in all these are awesome and yes I used my existing disks, no other changes were required, they fit right on. As a not the brackets have multiple screw holes so they might just fit many different styles.Pro's: Price, Quality, Equipment
