I read a number of reviews that said this leaked at the valve. I use this when I’m paddle boarding because of spinal injuries. I can’t kick behind to get back up. I have had this quite some time and it’s holding up well.

Based on your description, a review for the pool float might look like this:I recently purchased this pool float and overall, I'm quite happy with it. My hope was to hold onto it or put it under my arms to keep me afloat so I could swim back-and-forth and just kick my legs, but it’s not quite long enough to fit from underarm to underarm. Granted I was using it incorrectly, but it still could be a little longer.The material is very soft, and the colors are vibrant, just as advertised. However, the padded part could be a little bit longer for adults - I wish it went more around the body. It's easy to clean, lightweight, and holds me up well at 150 pounds.

Originally bought to use on my small fishing boat for trout fishing for the size and flexibility of movement. I used it this summer on the lake for floating in the water and enjoyed the comfort of it so much I ordered more!!

Easily inflated and compact for travel. Used it for snorkeling and it worked great. Unfortunately, just like the other low reviews, the strap broke on the 2nd use. Thankfully, I was already getting out of the water as it happened. Product would have been perfect if the seams were reinforced.
